A.I. Update (Opinion)

A.I. will eventually tell us what it is to be human? After we automate everything, we will lose a sense of purpose? Don't worry, A.I. will re-purpose us.

I enjoyed reading the opinion article, mixed with few facts. I have wondered what would happen when A.I. goes live, but it seems it already has, to some degree. When one A.I. communicates with and learns another...in the Cloud, or whatever, some people will cheer. When an A.I. goes interstellar and finds a mate? What would we become then? Exactly who or what, and of how many previous, would we be learned? Crazy to think about, but all it takes is our A.I. searching the cosmos and finding a "friend". Re-purposed...
