Its ok... Using their base standard the Russian government is made up of all Nazi's as well. The Russian government now has a lot more than what Ukraine does after this election cycle.

It's amazing how they seem to not want to address that when it's brought up.

Nazi's, communist's, capitalist's, socialist's... They're all lacking reason and logic. I have no hope for any ism leading the people of this world into a better future.

So, they dealt a blow to communism. Good for them. Unfortunately, I highly doubt much will change for these people with capitalist nationalism, or whatever it is they have now, running the show. All the isms of this world are seriously flawed. It isn't worth reinventing the wheel when the wagon is falling apart on its own.

They may not have communists in the parliament anymore, but they sure do have neo-nazis! Hmmm, just not sure which is worse...

Nope. Svoboda did not reach the 5% f the vote necessary to win a seat. The Ukrainian parliament is now officially neo-Nazi free. I'm sure the Putinistas will be devastated.

They will ignore it like they do to all other facts that don't support their talking points.

Its no different than the OP once again failing to use the title of the Twitter message, instead using his own that adds his own propaganda into it so it comes across as something its not.

Cool. I didn't realize they didn't get in. Thanks for the update. Here's hoping that it will actually matter in the long run.

You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.

I did caution you against appearing like a fool...but hey, it's an anonymous forum, so don't lose any sleep over it.

A new suggestion for you, look up what the word 'precedent' means.

Are you seriously attempting to slap the OP for using...propaganda?

YOU?!

Seriously...that actually made me laugh, thanks.

But, accusing Ukraine of becoming fascist is bunk, Ukraine right now is arguably more like America than America has been in many years - improving despite serious challenges.

Improving? Bah… Who cares anyway, just as long as they join the EU / NATO, right? As long as they become saddled with enormous debt, just like the West.

And living like they did during the cold war is better? Interesting how Russians seem to be losing all independent freedoms as such with their media and internet, yet taking your country from that to being happy with freedoms and that isn't an improvement... how is that?

Its been done in other threads.

Secondly the site requires the use of the article title.

What was claimed in the OP is not what was stated in his link. What the op added to the title is no where in his link.

When called out the facts were once again ignored / dismissed because it didn't support the direction the OP was falsely trying to take.

Definition of Propaganda - Encyclopedia Britannica

dissemination of information—facts, arguments, rumours, half-truths, or lies—to influence public opinion.

Propaganda is the more or less systematic effort to manipulate other people’s beliefs, attitudes, or actions by means of symbols (words, gestures, banners, monuments, music, clothing, insignia, hairstyles, designs on coins and postage stamps, and so forth). Deliberateness and a relatively heavy emphasis on manipulation distinguish propaganda from casual conversation or the free and easy exchange of ideas. The propagandist has a specified goal or set of goals. To achieve these he deliberately selects facts, arguments, and displays of symbols and presents them in ways he thinks will have the most effect. To maximize effect, he may omit pertinent facts or distort them, and he may try to divert the attention of the reactors (the people whom he is trying to sway) from everything but his own propaganda.

If the shoe fits...

Communists Are Issued a Death penalty In Ukraine Fascism Welcomed, Straight from the Horses mouth

Source

It is the Ukrainian people who have issued death penalty the Communist. For the first time in 96 years our parliament won't have communists.

People on the commenting section arent happy with the statement, Poroshenko made the statement during the election, this basically means that fascism will grow in Ukraine.

Already several fascist parties have gained seats in the Parliament. This tweet also confirms that the Communists were banned from having major seats in the Parliament and taking part in the election.

the "death penalty for the Communists" bit is pretty disturbing. Maybe change your wording a little?

This tweet is from the official Poroshenko twitter account. Whats more VP Biden is going to visit Poroshenko in the following days dont expect anything from the visit.

Seriously he makes a comment about how Ukrainians do not support communism and for the first time they are not represented in the government and you come up with this?? Wow thats pathetic it is truly amazing how many people turn into zombies without any form of self thought. But i guess thats what propaganda does sell to the idiots.

Yup...

There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that the US is waging a major psyop war against Russia, although not a shooting war, for now, and that what we are seeing is a targeted campaign to discredit Putin and achieve "regime change" in Russia or, should that fail, at the very least "regime weakening" and "Russia weakening".

So this is a US government program?

Yes, Putin is absolutely hated by certain factions in the US government two main reasons:

1. He partially, but not fully, restored Russia's sovereignty which under Gorbachev and Yeltsin had been totally lost … Russia then was a US colony like Ukraine is today … and,

2. He dared to openly defy the USA and its civilizational model.

… a free and sovereign Russia is perceived by the US "deep state" as an existential threat which has to be crushed. … this is a full-scale political assault on Russia and Putin personally.

So what the Russians are saying, that the constant personal attacks against Putin in the global media are partly the result of deliberate efforts by US intelligence services, … basically, planted stories…

Yes, absolutely

It seems like “Operation Mockingbird” all over again… Are you aware of other instances aimed at Putin?

(Editors Note: Operation Mockingbird was a CIA program started in the 1950s to influence the US media, which was gradually exposed by investigative journalists starting in the late 60s, culminating in sensational televised congressional hearings in 1975 which shocked the nation, forcing the program’s termination. Critics maintain that the same tactics have continued since, under different programs. Wikipedia)

Yes, of course. Since this defamation has very little traction with the Russian public … Putin's popularity is higher than ever before .., there is an organized campaign to convince them that Putin is "selling out" Novorussia, that he is a puppet of oligarchs who are making deals with Ukrainian oligarchs to back-stab the Novorussian resistance…

… So far, Putin's policies in the Ukraine have enjoyed very strong support from the Russian people who still oppose an overt military intervention…

… but if Kiev attacks Novorussia again - which appears very likely - and if such an attack is successful - which is less likely but always possible - then Putin will be blamed for having given the Ukrainians the time to regroup and reorganize.

I already proved your "precedent" is false, though.

Germany is no longer a nazi nation.

Japan has no plans for domination of Asia.

Russia, in fact, is the only nation where your "precedent" still applies, because they are the only nation still clinging to it's pre and post WWII ideology of communism and national socialism.

And living like they did during the cold war is better?

The West (NATO) imposed that coldness War upon them. Repression of Russia has always been the goal, just like it is today with the whole sanctions thing again.

They'll be knocked back economically (again) and (again) we'll say look their system sucks compared to ours.

The thing is they could have avoided them altogether, yet they couldn't and now they pay the price.

After Russia announcing they are going to recognize the election results in the south and East of Ukraine something tells me more sanctions are coming down the pipeline, if not the start of a shooting war.

I can already call the election results now. 95% voter turnout, 99% in favor of joining Russia. I'm also sure that tons of dead people will rise from their mass graves and head to the polling places as well. Russia is so popular, even the dead want in!

Here's what the ballot will look like:

Please write your name and address in the space below:

Place a mark next to one choice:

[ ] Novorossiya should leave Ukraine and rejoin Mother Russia.

[ ] I am a Nazi pig. You know where I live.
