"Google Earth" is a free service used by media, scientists, and layman; to explore, research, and discover in the earth and oceans. Recently scientists with associated with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography released a new overlay for use on "Google Earth." The "Vertical Gravity Gradient" overlay adds new imagery of the ocean floors not available otherwise. Using this new overlay I have found a site for Atlantis next to the Cape Verde Islands off of Africa. View the You Tube video to see the area where Atlantis lies.

No link, I'm convinced!
I wonder if they used Owens Corning Pink in Atlantis?

Ok, we have a video.
And lots of conjecture.
I just had to look, didn't I?
It could be Atlantis, you never know what the fuzzy depths of goo-gill urf will turnip.

can someone explain to me how those horribly pixilated frames even look like a quarry or cultivated plane?

This is a huge stretch.......

you could take any group of islands in any ocean and do exactly what this person did.........

This feels more like a "lets see how many people believe this" sort of video

I wish I could have done a thesis like this.
I' would have walked up to my professor and said "Bam ! Atlantis done .."
"That's right You Tube and under 3 minutes. "
But no they wanted research and qualifications and words.
picky picky.

I see nothing that looks like old ruins. Very poor video quality. No real proof.

I figured google underwater would start this trend. I suspect we are going to see a LOT of underwater civ hypothesis videos in the coming years. And actually I think a few will be on the money. This one has a couple of good points. I doubt that atlantis was this huge, but who knows.

Did you personally make this very YT video?
I want to bite.. on only my belief as to these islands were once part of. Actually it was cape Verde or Funchal ..
But I'm not sure if it's still a story passed on by Plato to Socrates ...
Still fascinating subject.
If it's there.. I hope it's found.
