I'm open to suggestion.

I generally prefer sci-fi movies, but i'm into the drama too.

Any recommendations?

"Moon" (2009) is a decent scifi movie that alot of people probably haven't seen.
It's about a guy who is living alone on the moon for a 3-year work contract, and he makes a discovery that causes him to question his entire reality.
"The Man From Earth" (2007) is also pretty good. The whole movie though is a guy telling a story to his coworkers about how he doesn't age and has been alive for like 14,000 years. It's alot cooler than it sounds.

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas.

It doesn't get much more dramatic than that. The ending will leave you gaping at the tv screen for at least 15 minutes. It's set during the Holocaust and portrays a Jewish boy and a German soldier's son interacting without realizing why they shouldn't.

I've watched it a few times. Highly recommended.

I remember the part you're talking about, that was intense.

Cloud Atlas

Literally one of the best movies I have ever seen. You will need to watch it more than once.

That's the True True.

Moon is a great flick,

It would be easier to make a recommendation if we knew a few movies that you did like.

You're right.

Yet very few even noticed it.

It was my favourite movie of the year.

After seeing it, I read the book and saw the movie again, all in the same week.

Last night I watched Birdman and enjoyed it very much.

The Amazing Marigold Hotel is on TV at the moment.

Wait, what? Did you pirate it? I can't find it for purchase yet and have changed some of my former ways.

Saw it in theater and have been checking daily hoping it gets released before November something.
Jealous!

-Moon (as suggested but I found it a tad slow, completely worth just keep in mind depending on your mood)

-District 9

-Iron Giant (shut up, I like kids movies)

-Super 8

Hey Domo!

My sister knows a guy who gets some DVD's early - through a relative in the movie industry. Such was the case here. He asked her if she was interested and she brought it home for me to watch. Had to send it back when she left for work this morning.
