And, no, it's not little dancing ebola viruses, though I'm sure that's coming.

I only noticed this because I've been doing this search every morning since June, and this is the first time it's shown up this way. It's just this....

Guess they've been getting a lot of hits on ebola and just are just choosing to get lucky for me.

Just wanted to post for posterity. Carry on.

ETA: Google is not my standard engine...but I do use it too just to see how it "helps" me and so noticed this. Just wanted to say that

Haha. Right.

Now I'm just wondering if everyone would get this or it's just me.

Well damnit. But thanks for the info.

Maybe I've hit my "she searches for ebola every day so lets help her out number" and this is just for me

Source: cdc.gov) Ebola is a rare and deadly disease caused by infection with a strain of Ebola virus. The 2014 Ebola epidemic is the largest in history, affecting multiple countries in West Africa. The risk of an Ebola outbreak affecting multiple people in the U.S. is very low.
What you need to know:Ebola is spread through direct contact with blood and body fluids of a person already showing symptoms of Ebola. Ebola is not spread through the air, water, food, or mosquitoes.

Reads like misinformation.

What you need to know is… confusing.

My Sister in Law is stocking up on Homeopathic Ebola "Remedies", lol.

Google is not my go-to search engine, either, but out of curiosity I went and tried your search.

I got the splash box when I was logged out of Google and when I was logged in.

I also think that the rehashing by the CDC that it's very low risk to spread in the US is exactly why people are so lackadaisical and the exact reason why it WILL spread here.

I just googled "Ebola" and got it too. Must be they're grasping for straws in a last-ditch attempt to calm the masses.

I wonder how many searches have been done for Ebola?????

Yes, a dancing filovirus is surely forthcoming.
As a side note, one that doesn't totally involve my Tin Hat, I know a blogger who posted about Google Ad-words and applying to Google's program to make sure posts were at, or near, the top of Googoo's searches.

Google has these boxes for a lot of things. I guess that they tend to especially make them for things that are trending and or is a current major event going on in the world
