I have encountered much more than once in my internet wanderings the idea that we might be trapped in a cycle of reincarnation designed to provide emotional food for non-physical beings. Archons, or reptiles is what they are often called.

If this trap exists, is there any way to escape it?

If you don't believe in the trap, please don't answer. But if you do, do you have any advice. I'm old. Not much time.

This is something I have been studying the likelihood of for quite a while now. I have unfortunately concluded that there is no doubt we are trapped in a recycling matrix of futile incarnation, overseen by energetic parasites in higher densities. The only way out, as impossible as it may seem, is to overcome death and attain immortality, but this isn't something that can be done individually. This must happen en masse through a spirit of camaraderie throughout mankind. The problem is that the matrix engineers keep humanity from doing this through the establishment of conflicting and emotion-based (reptilian brain) social and religious views, and even through cultural and racial differences (as in the Tower of Babel story in Genesis).

It's a bit of a dreadful realization to see that we are kept as slaves through spiritual, mental, emotional, and genetic manipulations, destined only to keep being recycled into the predicament with no true memory or realization of who we are. And that we are actually responsible for it ourselves, as a whole, by way of ego.

Well mate, the first time i saw a U.F.O. i was meditating pretty heavily every night lay in bed.
I was using it just to release stress from work and my life as i would go to bed wired and could not sleep.
I later discovered Whitley Streiber had been in the Gurdjieff foundation and had been meditating using their techniques when he came into contact with other beings.
He reckoned later on that meditation was the direct cause of this encounter as it expands your awareness.

You will resurrect until you sustain enough energy to become self dependent after death. The fastest way to gain the energy needed is to meditate on your body.
I have been in what Wayne Dyer might call the gap using meditation and became aware of being out of my body but was anchored to the bed through my head, neck and shoulders and could not break free when 2 hands grabbed my forearms and tried to gently coerce me out,i would lift up a few feet and then shoot back again,it was like a yoyo.

The answers lie in the past because we are the second advanced civilization not the first and we are trapped here and are at the mercy of things like "the Archons" due to the misdoings of the first civilization.

The ones I encountered were called Aeons or something
like that (they didn't spell it for me) and they said they
were time travelers, and actually took me back in time,
sort of speak. I wasn't really back in time but in a perfect
holographic reproduction of it. They appeared as bright
red lights like the brightest lightning bugs you ever saw in your
life; as bright as laser light.

I thought the said they were called Aeons but maybe they said Archons.

It's hard to remember but I don't think they are bad.

Just my two cents

If you feel trapped, then you are.
If you feel free, then you are.
If you feel nothing, then you are.
If you feel all, then you are.

You are, and that's all.

If you feel free, then you are. Nope. In a neutral situation, that might be true. But if you are being slowly killed by a very bad person, then it is not.

This is the biggest question by a billion miles. Are we actually free?

Does any human know the answer?

Absolutely...

But this statement from the OP causes me to wonder whether or not you actually WANT the answer:

If you don't believe in the trap, please don't answer.

I find it very interesting my friend, that you value the words of Krishnamurti
so much, as he was quite the rebel; as a matter of fact he dealt quite the
blow to the theosophical movement. There's a lot of people who think that
he was a 'failed luminary'.

I for one am rather fond of rebels as you might expect.

As for the topic at hand.. it certainly appears that human civilization
en-mass is trapped does it not? Trapped into repeating history
endlessly until they go extinct.

It should be interesting to see whether humans go extinct or not,
as if they do, then the 'farming human cattle' theory might be
wrong. It's a heck of a way to test a theory however!

;-)

Kev

Hi Kev,
I think Krishnamurti was the real deal, i love listening to his speeches. A real rebel, just like yourself KPB.
I don't know about the cattle farm theory but i do think a war is coming that will wipe out most of the human population. What happens after is anyone's guess, maybe a new Golden Age. Hopefully.

It was me being late-night stupid. Of course, if I ask the question, are we trapped, the answer "no" should be allowed!

With a clearer head, the words should have been, if you don't believe that reincarnation is likely the system we find ourselves in, I'm not interested. Instead of asking, "Are we trapped?", I could have asked, "Is the reincarnation system ultimately benevolent in nature, or is it designed for the benefit of beings other than we humans?"

There's a body of work online that attempts to tackle this in correlation with Dewey Larson's Reciprocal Systems of Physical Theory, describing the reincarnation process as being naturally causative of the evolution of consciousness. The specific papers that tackles these issues are Homo Sapiens Ethicus: Part 3 of Anthropology series and New World Religion: Part 2 of Anthropology series. The whole set of papers can be found HERE, oldest at the bottom, newer entries at the top. The info presented herein is quite contrary to the scientific/spiritual mainstream and may take a couple of readings to start absorbing/understanding some of the concepts so that many of the ideas about our reality that we've been fed as "truth" are deconstructed, and a very different perspective on our reality may be seen.

And I don't mean the non-human animals on the planet. They are going extinct way too fast.

Yes, Krishnamurti was quite the rebel; I admire him.

I suggest that anyone who wishes to understand this subject
from a more scientific standpoint read this book:

"The Fall: The Insanity of the Ego in Human History and the Dawning of A New Era"

I consider that book to be an important read which dispels much ignorance.

I had a quick look at some reviews of the book you mentioned KPB.

www.amazon.co.uk...

It looks very interesting and i must say i agree with what little i have read. The pesky ego must die.

If its an emotional attachment to a host, then what happens if you can cut your emotions off? Or control them when you feel an attachment is near or present? So 1 does not feel we are trapped as much as just not aware of the full capabilities of ourselves to protect ourselves... And once more aware things once felt trapping you may no longer do so.

It's not that simple.

'Egos' have a place and and important function.

It's toxic egos grown by a toxic and destructive
culture (pretty much all of them) which is the
problem.

I'd say that it's pointless to study spirituality,
religion or mythology if you are missing the
basic historical facts that book discusses.

Other authors discuss some of the same
topics, but you won't find a better primer
explaining the reasons for our fetid and
moribund human nature elsewhere...
and its pretty much woo free.

The only thing I can really offer is that I chose to be here. Trying to understand concepts that your question raises are like trying to discuss 3 dimensions with a 2 dimensional entity -- it's not going to work (to many paradoxes).

When your mind is reconnected with the "everything" -- all paradoxes fall away and things just "make sense". It's nearly impossible to bring back any meaningful insight from that place, because -- as I said to many paradoxes exist.

I can also say with some certainty that if there are some kind of "beings" that are "feeding" off of us, they are of our own creation because we have thought them into existence. Everything is ONE, so nothing really ever harms anything else. Anything that can be, will be and has been.
