And IDK about getting rid of willis, would you say that bowman has the same intangibles as willis?
I get the cap space clearing, just would hate to see him anywhere else with the skill set he has.

He's getting up there in age. There's fine, young talent coming up. THAT is the Niners strength in case anyone doesn't know. They draft better than anyone. Deep pool of talent on the bench. IDK how many ex-Niners I see on other teams doing well. Why? Because they were taught well. Willis may not be the BEST LB in the league but he's in the top 5. He has 3 years left on his contract. The math makes sense. Deal him to an AFC team not the Bronco, Patriots or Colts for a helluva lot more than draft picks.

Or ask him to restructure his contract? Would much rather see that happen then send him out.
But yes if he does get sent out, afc team and for a kings ransom.
I still have issue with who would take over his role outside of the physical stuff tho.

Hmm. What could happen? Baltimore has as many DB's as they do LB's. Not like the Harbaughs wouldn't deal in house.

Very possible, I mean we got Boldin which has been one hell of a deal.
I guess we will have to wait and see what goes down in the off season.
I think I am just being a little partial to seeing him in a niners uni, by far one of my favorite niners,
And I gotta beat the dead horse of what he brings to the table intangibly.

Mine would the flash, he was one of the greats I got see play the most, well along with steve.
Rice was the first jersey I got as well, then Hearst and Julian Peterson and now rock the 94 smith jersy usually
Born in 88, so didnt have the chance to get to see lott tear it up. Well I am sure when I was little the old man had a game on with him playing, if it was against the vikes then it was on for sure.
Little hard to recall those 2 year old memories tho

And the Brownies. I am so tired of tis Brian Hoyer non sense I am not trying to bash the guy or maybe I am. But 20 for 50?? really. Can we finally see Manziel or is he just going to red shirt for the whole season?? Lets see what you hAve. I donty know why the coaching staff is so scared. Theres no rule that says you can;t go back to hoyer but public opinion.

Hoyer is winning, and with not much. Manziel had his shot and lost why give him the ball in November?
Once they are out of the playoffs, and if that happens, then sure go ahead and tinker.
They get gordon back, should help alot.

and with Rg3 Washington Redskins fans had this complete love affair with him. I wonder if the fans will turn on him?

I wonder if the Redskins own home turf changed Rg3 forever

I blame free agency on this. Before you drafted a QB and had him under the veteran to learn. In the last 15 years or so they are drafting QB's and throwing them in there the first year. That's OK with the top echelon. Luck. Rothlesberber. Etc. The rest still have to age. It kills some young QB's.

Playing him when he was hurt is what changed him.
His leg was string cheese by the end of that seattle game.
And yes throwing him into the fire didn't help

You reading into what brooks did at all?
I mean if he wants to be like that lynch came in and did great so he can pout on the bench all he wants

It isn't right man. Brooks has given it all while everyone else is hurt. No loyalty for a man doing an excellent job. I can see why people are pissed at Harbaugh.

so Are you feeling good that the 49er empire will make the playoffs?? I mean its going to be tough in the NFC playoff push you have Detroit and Greenbay both with good records and also the eagles and cowboys both with good records. could the second place finisher in both divisions take both wild card spots. and I have basically written off that Arizona wins the NFC west.

But to pull your self out of a game cause you don't want to share playing time?
Check your problems at the door and play the game and then talk to the coach after the game.
And really until the saints game he hasn't been much of a factor. I mean he sees the writing on the wall that he is most likely gone but doesn't need to be a baby about it. Niners are still paying him to play

Niners have the tie breakers over both Dallas and philly so there is a chance.
November and December football is where you see the pushes

To me this is going to be the first time in a while that the thanksgiving games are going to mean something and be good.

Its usually like I can leave during the lions game and go to thanksgiving. who cares. But I can make a case now that all three of these games are worth really watching. The bears have won 2 in a row and the lions still fighting for that playoff spot with greenbay. Dallas and the eagles play for the lead in the NFC east. (Chip Kelly's offense always entertaining to watch) and I don't even need to explain the best rivalry in football. My hope is crabtree has this game circled on his calendar. I know he is capable of a break out game hopefully this will be his motivation.
