I don't have the answer but I would like to propose a compromise.
Everyone keeps saying the NSA took away Freedom. What can't you do today that was a right taken away by the NSA?
When we speak of the right to bear arms, or any of the bill of rights we are talking about Freedom. For the bill of rights a man should be willing to fight.
But we are not taking about freedom, we are talking about privacy. I understand that the NSA is infringing on the 4th amendment, but let us look at the fact.
The fact, every electric communication can and likely will be recorded by someone.
It might be better to surrender our privacy and allow the recording. Focus rather on laws pertaining to the use of the information. Like requiring a warrant to view someone's private file and use it against them.
The world is changing, and with the communication age we might have to give up a little privacy to ensure the world is safer.
But we absolutely must not give up our freedoms.
