I agree. BUT what if he believes his own lies? Should we setup a government panel for this? A law enforcement department to handle all forms of exploitation, be it fear or sex or drugs or whatever?

Isn't our economy essentially exploitation? We try to reel it in with regulations, but too many regulations means no freedom for the people. And are we so arrogant to assume we know exactly what needs to be regulated? I think it's easy to go too far. Tyranny of best intentions.

I'm not against going after people doing bad things. BUT the line between that and idealogical matters can be frighteningly blurry. So we go after a few people, but it doesn't stop there. We find new things to go after. We adopt idealogy to support it. Collectivism (or socialism) become more acceptable, wherein the state has priority over the individual. All because it's so easy to forget or mistake the past and children are a blank slate. We're all prisoners of this reality. We're born into it with little other choice.

I think what's happening is the individual is losing objective value to the centralized community. What I'm saying here is all the collected knowledge and infrastructure of humanity has devalued individuals. The natural inclination then is for us to adopt new idealogy which makes our devaluation acceptable and encouraged. I'm not saying this is necessarily bad, but it's not something I particularly want. Maybe I still hold onto the illusion of freedom, thanks to popular culture, movies and stories, and of course my own experiences. This is what I grew up in and I can't abandon it so easily. I'm steeped in it to my detriment!?

So is that how the future will see our current freedoms? As lawlessness and depravity and uncontrolled exploitation and abuse? Yes. So you agree with them? Easy pill to swallow so far, until you see the things they do. It's just like in Matrix when Morpheus says "Unfortunately nobody can be told what the matrix is. They have to see it."

How can you belief this guy...? Ever since I heared him predict stuff some 5 years ago nothing was spot on. He is full of it and is always talking about things which are obvious or about stuff that will not happen in a million years. With those odds even I do dare to take a bet.
