lol i should of been more specific lol I'm speaking from a mindset of both ceremonial magick and from a ghost hunting point of view. Have encountered demons with both. But i agree with ya 100%. Whatever your belief system, have faith in it and speak with confidence to it, if you wish to speak to it at all. Yes they will try to talk you in circles and trap you with your own words, but this is just who they are and its their job to find faults with people, don't take it personally. Your confidence and humbleness is your greatest protection, have both in equal amounts. IF you speak to it, ask it how it would like to be addressed, some can be very specific and you will notice sometimes their attitude towards you will improve the more respect you give them. As with anything of this nature, if you go in with both guns blazing, both guns blazing is what you WILL get in return, so be very mindful.

But also remind it that it's in your home without you specifically giving it permission to be there. Then ask it's purpose. That asserts your dominance within your home and gives you pertection from anything it may try as long as all of the above is followed correctly. But do be nice and address it how it asks to be addressed. I might like to add, and this is a ceremonial magick trick. Ask it to write out its name in front of you. If it is who it claims to be the name will be written clearly. If its something trying to pretend to be this demon, it will most likely leave because it doesn't want to piss off the real demon who goes by that name. It works lol trust me lol

wow! that sounds really intense. I've never heard of magickal ghost hunting before! is this a culture-specific rite? I don't know very much at all about magick. =X how'd you get into that field, if you don't mind me asking? Is it like shamantic rites or something else entirelly? and i believe you--based on what i've seen you are spot-on with your assertions.

What works for some may not work for you, but it certainly worked for me, and it's worked for others. If the family has faith in Christ, then it ought to work for them. It's the power of faith that does the trick.

lol well I'm part of a ghost hunting group and i practice ceremonial magick. I don't actually do both of them at the same time i actually did start off studying shamanism, Greek actually from a hereditary line, but it wasn't my thing, gave me a great base to branch from though. Took to studying ancient cultures and how they worship. Kind of fell into ceremonial magick as just something to study, till i realized i had a talent for it lol. Everyone has their thing religion wise, and everyone should believe in something lol mine's just a little odd is all lol.

As far as demon's, i don't talk to them much but occasionally they have a tendency to pop in pretending to be something else and you have to know how to speak to them properly. Mind your Ps and Qs and you'll find that you'll be just fine as long as you understand yourself and the reasons for your actions. Most things that claim to be demons are actually something else and quite chaotic in nature. Demons are alot of things but chaotic they most certainly are not, theres a big difference between a dark entity like a demon and something chaotic. but thats just what i believe, to each their own.

They are both great people and willing to help those who seek it.

Wow, just got off work and lots of posts to go through, ill get back to people as i can.

Was posting to make a correction regarding baptism. I am saved and baptized though i no long attend church. My wife is saved but not baptized. Roommate is/was a catholic, no longer attending church. Son is 2 1/2 and not baptized or anything.

don't assume its a demon because you got a name, i did an evp in my house several months back and as clear as anything you can hear a male voice hiss 'i'm Satan', it was just a bully, theres many of them.

Don't try any "exorcists" because a)They're almost always fake b) if they aren't fake but aren't well versed they may make the problem worse, C)if they're legit and expel your unwanted guests, they'll be really expensive

This may be true in some cases, but I assure you, it is not the case with the two men I referenced in my above post.

Jokes aside, perhaps it's not the "Jesus" part that works, but the faith required in believing it will work that ultimately makes it effective. In any case, I can't imagine telling someone that their faith is bull#. It's incredibly rude, not to mention a bit egotistical to assume that you have life figured out any more than anyone else here. The OP is clearly in turmoil and in need of advice. The people giving said advice deserve to be able to do so without being degraded for believing differently than you. Just because something is YOUR truth, doesn't mean it's MY truth. That fact doesn't negate either of our opinions, it just provides a wider range of insight for the OP, don't you think?

Have you posted this file anywhere so that it may be examined? Just curious, because it seems that all the time I see people post about their stories of such entities, and yet, when they are asked to provide even a small amount of actual scientifically verifiable proof of their existence we are supposed to just blindly "believe". I do try to keep an open mind, but most of the time, I believe that stories such as the OP's story is either just a story, or that due to their particular psychological religious brainwashing they have undergone, they convince themselves that these entities actually exist.

OP, do you think you would have a completely different outlook on the situation had you not been involved with any sort of religious brainwashing? Seriously...think about it. And maybe, just maybe, take a deep breath, relax, and remember that it's all in your head.

Figures like Jesus are neither unique, nor special in the world of mythology, magic, and faith. They're all subtle manifestations of archetypal energies that have walked hand-in-hand with Man since the dawn of consciousness.

Whether we're talking about Dumuzi of Mesopotamia, Osiris of Egypt, or the Jesus of European Christianity, the archetypal energy at its core is the same: the father, the King, the healer. Faith is just the lens through which we choose to view the refractions of that archetype.

I'm going to preface this concisely:I've experienced way more in this area than I ever wanted to for myself; and I am a Christian holding to the faith and power of God's word. This is my advise based on my personal experience. Trust me, you do NOT want to learn about this stuff the hard way.

First and foremost, you need to immediately halt your search for information about any entity, named or unnamed, you believe to be creeping around your family's quarters. Then, make your OP the last time you ever speak or write the name you used to identify this demonic entity. Make a concerted effort to proactively abandon all thoughts pertaining to any possible demonic activity in your home, lest you become obsessed, a common symptom of demonic oppression.

This is a matter of spiritual warfare and true powers. What you do matters. Interacting with such beings can escalate into a life and death situation. Ask God's protection over you and your home. Seek God's power and protection over you and your family. Stop looking for answers from the dark side. Stay strong.
