A Michigan Republican with a criminal record for breaking into cars and masturbating is urging residents to move out of state to avoid the “homosexual agenda.”

Jordan Haskins briefly suspended his campaign for an open state house seat after his criminal convictions were revealed.

The 24-year-old Republican, who served prison terms in two states and is currently on parole, strongly criticized in a Facebook post proposed protections for LGBT people under Michigan’s civil rights laws, reported Right Wing Watch.

Haskins accumulated criminal records in Michigan and North Carolina, where he broke into vehicles at least four times between April 2010 and January 2011, disconnected ignition wires, and started the engine.

As the snapped wires threw off sparks, Haskins would pleasure himself in a sexualized ritual he has described as “cranking.”

Conservatives are paranoid of homosexuality, zoophilia and other non-traditional sexual orientations. They think its a conspiracy to undermine traditional families and religion (man-woman). Liberals are paranoid of conservatives who don't like alternative sexual orientations. So they`ll exaggerate perceived threats - which is what "rightwingwatch" and "rawstory" do all the time. Nothing to see here, just more of the same overblown non-issue.

Homosexuality isn't a "fetish" though. Spanking, bondage, exhibitionism, sure. Homosexuality is simply the determining factor of who you want to tie you up, spank you and have sex with in public.

Wait a minute... you can be a candidate while you'rr on parole with a felony record? Most places won't even consider hiring someone with a felony record. I don't think even wal-mart hires people with a felony record. I'm not even sure you can join the army with a felony record.This is the type of person the GOP is putting up as a candidate?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's not just this one and not just Republicans. I'm sure, if you look hard enough, you'll find felons in every branch of government both Republican and Democrat. Felons should not be allowed to hold a government office

I think people should move out of his state to avoid it, in fact!
