2. The arrows are pointing to blackness inside the shadow of the equipment...your point?

Well i guess my initial thought is just as looney, did anyone think the rover tracks could be mistaken for an astronauts bootprints? I looked at a pic of neil armstrongs prints on the moon lol

what I see is the moon rovers shawdo and traks that were made by the rover and what looks like a round rock the the sand was blowen off of with 4 depersions that still have sand in them . and the sky .
so weres the mistery?

I'm assuming that what your trying to point out is that the shadows are wrong. The sky clearly shows that the light source is on the horizon, which would be in front of the rover, however the shadow being projected could only be there if the light source was behind the rover. Is this what the point is?

Ok...I propertied the pic and that is what this person is talking about as the pic title is "mars-whale"...I'm gonna play with the photo a bit and see what I get, cause I sure don't see a whale...

Lady V, i made the "mars whale" by editing in paint, i labelled what I think the threadstarter is seeing as a whale shape, with mouth and tail, unfortunatly i used fine yellow pencil and my text cant be seen. The "mouth" is the wider end i think. Very good imagination and an incorrect scale perspective. perhaps the poster is implying a fossilised whale?

If I lock it, people will still look here... Better to just unplug the life support and let it go naturally...

I've added a little disclaimer to the first though, so that one doesn't need to go through all the pages just to find out what they should be looking at...
