Ok, can you show me a rock like the large, oddly shaped one in the center?

this

yep its a rock

and lets face it given enouf time nature could make a fully finctional house time+posibility=anything

a reconizable shape is not proof of anything other than natral prosesses untell you can prove otherwise

you could find a pic writen in small rock spelling out "we are hear to help"

and i would still say there is a remote chanse its a randome act of nature

show me the guy who built it and ill bite

You want one that looks exactly the same?
Or ones that look like faces?

For the latter see above.

Then I have no idea what you're talking about. Except that if it's in that picture, and large, it's a rock. Sedimentary.

The shadow makes it appear to be sort of like a stick, It could be a long rock sliver though. It would probably have to be crystalline though, more possibleevidence that there used to be water.

I was thinking petrified wood given how dark it is among the white stones and waving sands, but thats me.

You are absolutely right. Forgive me for asking a curious question instead of making a wild assertions about alien weapons, giant statues or fields of bones.

In the future I will spend my time reading trashy gossip magazines or watching reality tv instead of casually exploring a distant planet.

What was I thinking....

Actually, even if it were petrified wood it would be a rock. Petrified wood is stone.
But it isn't petrified wood. It's sedimentary rock. You can tell by the layering.

How can you see layering in something that dark. Not arguing, just generally curious.

And I'm aware petrified wood is stone, that's so Phage.

Layering is obvious in rock you are talking about as well as the surrounding rocks.
