I'm confident that it is a manufactured cult. As for who created it? Probably the Romans. But, who cares. The result is observable. The continued push for religion on religion war, makes it quite easy to point out after 13 years of it.

We are talking about two entirely different things I believe...

You are referring to religion.

I was not...

Most consider religion and God to be one and the same.

They are not, in fact God HATES Religion.

Nor is he the one behind it.

God and Religion are complete opposites and have NOTHING in common.

Just an fyi, I have only posted these versions for information's sake and am not affiliated in any way other than the air we breathe

Latin for "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" is "Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Iudaeorvm" and the acronym for this title is INRI. Latin uses the letter "I" instead of the English "J", and "V" instead of "U" (i.e., Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum). The English translation is then "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."

Masonically INRI is read: "Igne Natura Renovatur Integra". The regeneration of nature by the influence of the sun symbolizes the spiritual regeneration of mankind by the sacred fire (truth and love) of Masonry, a purely naturalistic institution.

The Jesuit Order, otherwise known as the Society of Jesus (S.J.), is the military enforcement arm of the Catholic Church. On the Jesuit flag is written the words, IUSTUM, NECAR, REGES, IMPIOS or, "It is just to exterminate or annihilate impious or heretical kings, governments, or rulers."http://www.thenazareneway.com/inri_the_inscription_explaine

I'm sorry, yes, we are talking about the same thing. Religion.

A religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence. Many religions have narratives, symbols, and sacred histories that are intended to explain the meaning of life and/or to explain the origin of life or the Universe.

Could you please elaborate how, using only that definition, Christianity is NOT a religion? I find no ambiguity in this definition. It is a simple less than 50 word statement. Crisp and clear, in its meaning, delivery, and implications. Let's stick to your own words too, not your favorite pastor/priest/sermon/verse doing your thinking for you. All you need for this simple mental exercise is those words, and a dictionary.

Now, is every religion (which obviously includes Christianity by default) an Illuminati Cult/Agenda as you implied? No. I would not go that far.

I'm more along the mental narrative that the core of Christendom's New Testament started off as a Roman PsyOp. Probably designed to erode the power base of the Sanhedrin. Given the penchant for Jewish organized revolt against the Roman Empire, I could see the justifications as to why/how someone could come up with the idea.

Somehow, over a great amount of time, this same PsyOp eventually morphed into a profitable modernized whitewashed human sacrifice worship death cult. So, when I say cult, this is what I mean.

As for the God hates religion gambit.... Back in my fundamentalist evangelical days, I made that very same claim when evangelizing.. er, proselytizing.

Sadly, Freud said it best.

"Religion, comprises a system of wishful illusions together with a disavowal of reality, such as we find in an isolated form nowhere else but in amentia, in a state of blissful hallucinatory confusion." ~ Sigmund Freud

Concerning Freud, virtually no one takes him seriously anymore...

The essays show Freud as a fabricator of his patients' confessions, a liar, a cheat, a ruthless censor, a myth creator (about himself), a paranoiac, an icy remorseless opportunist, a jealous and imperious character full of a priori's, a megalomaniac, an impostor, a tyrant and a misogynist... Luc Reynaert

We can argue semantics til the cows come home...

Fact: we ARE talking about two different things.

YOUR definition of the word "religion" and mine are two entirely different things.

When you reach the end of your life, I can assure you that the very LAST thing on your mind will be Freud and what it says in some dictionary.

The etymology of the word religion is “to reconnect”

The root meaning for the word means to "reconnect with God" (from the original Latin).

Religio means “to go within” i.e. “to know and obey” God.

The agenda behind false religion is to keep you disconnected from God.

“Religion, from religare, signifies to tie or bind, because by true religion the soul is tied or bound, as it were, to God and His service.”

Museum of Antiquity A Description of Ancient Life

“The word religion comes from the word "religare" -- to bind fast, to connect.”
religare - definition and meaning

"...the etymological root of religion is the Latin religare - which means 'to tie, to fasten, to bind' "

GreenCine Daily: SFIFF, 4/27

The derivation of the word religion has been a matter of dispute from ancient times.

Religion, from Latin 'religare' meaning 'to bind', describes our connection to God as the One thing which exists.

Lactantius derives religion from religare (to bind): We are tied to God and bound to Him [religati] by the bond of piety, and it is from this, and not, as Cicero holds, from careful consideration [relegendo], that religion has received its name. (Lactantius)

St. Augustine himself was not satisfied with it, for in his 'Retractions', I, xiii, he abandoned it in favour of the derivation given by Lactantius. He employs the latter meaning in his treatise 'On the True Religion', where he says: 'Religion binds us [religat] to the one Almighty God.' (St Augustine)

So, can you be specific in your own words? Is Christianity a religion? Yes/No?
