Didn't know where to put it. Mods

We know from history what the Roman empire did to the unbelievers in Christ.

What if they plan to kill all the unbelievers again to get back control of the population?

Who would be able to stop them?

We are taught history repeats itself, Why not

Just an Idea

The Romans? They don't have a standing army. How are they going to retake the world in the name of Catholicism?

Uhh actually the Roman empire persecuted and slaughtered people who BELIEVED in Christ, Christains, not the other way around..also other religions besides their own....

For the Christians that only changed with Emperor Constantine.......

No offense but might want to learn some of that history first.......

Because that full saying at the end of your post is actually "Those who do not remember history are doomed to repeat it"

Where are the guillotines (note the spelling) you speak of? And who exactly are 'they'? So many questions, so few answers...

Sure they do.. its spread all over the world.. its called Christianity. The pope calling on all the believers join their cause and become the army.

Um the catholic religion isn't spread over the world like a bunch of terrorist cells waiting to be activated at a moment's notice. That is ridiculous.

It would make a damn fine plot for a movie, though!

Actually Rome killed Christians, legalized it, then killed pagans who refused to convert. Sounds a lot like a coup d'etat to me, not an empire having a change of heart.

LOL... I always wanted to do a "Red Dawn" spoof called "China Dawn" where all the Chinese resteraunts were a secret red china army post which suddenly pulled out AK's and RPG's and took over the towns they were in. A comedy of course but a good comedy plot (starring Charlie Sheen).

Rome killed a lot of people.....my point was his history is a bit backwards......especially for someone telling everyone to beware history, he should probably know which part hes talking about

The best way to "kill" a Christian is through education.

But his history wasn't backwards because Rome actually did kill unbelievers in Christ, so technically he wasn't wrong.

I see you edited your post.

I'd say you're right...

This picture was used as a sample image of said guillotines too, which is actually a "sculpture" done by Tom Sachs. Link
