I studied that disease quite a bit. The reaction of Reynauds disease is a natural one that goes ballistic. I had my finger go all white when I cut
it and when my fingers get really cold they turn white. This is natural, when you get cut, the bloodvessels are supposed to snap shut near your joint
to stop bleeding. When your fingers get really cold, the body protects the fingers by draining out the blood to keep the blood from pooling, it can
do that for a while and this prevents permanent injury. Now with Reynaurds disease, the system goes wild and shuts down the valve like areas when
they shouldn't. I suppose taking this med relaxes that from happening.
