Good to know but this does little to quell fears
Also patient zero has been traced to a two year old child December 6 2023 I believe. ETA not sure which country she was from.
I get it was justa typo but makes a good read.

She was cleared to fly.
by the hospital
by the CDC.
She asked. THEY said it was okay. And they are supposed to know more than a nurse!
Stuff happens...let's worry instead about damage control and containment then blame.
I'm watching the news channels. Fox, "O'Reilly", guest said that she may not have called the CDC. They're still trying to determine what she did.

It takes PROLONGED CONTACT (such as mopping up body fluids) with the virus unless someone is already immunodeficient.
An Ohio bridal store closed Thursday after Ebola patient Amber Vinson visited the shop this weekend.
A spokesperson for Coming Attractions Bridal and Formal in Akron, Ohio told WKYC 3 that it closed voluntarily after speaking with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It will not reopen until it gets an official's go-ahead.
The store's owner, Anna Younker, told ABC News that Vinson came to the shop with seven friends to look for bridesmaid dresses. Vinson bought her own wedding dress there last summer.
She said Vinson did not show any signs of feeling ill.
"Very intelligent lady," Younker told CNN. "All her friends were nice."

AKRON, Ohio -- Ebola patient Amber Joy Vinson was in Tallmadge planning her own wedding this weekend and shopped for bridesmaid dresses at a bridal shop in Akron; now her fiancé of three months is self-monitoring for Ebola symptoms in Dallas.
Vinson had announced plans to marry over the summer, long before the threat of Ebola reached the United States. After Vinson, a nurse, cared for Ebola patient Eric Thomas Duncan in Dallas last week, she traveled home to Tallmadge to make arrangements for the wedding.
Summit County Public Health officials said Vinson was cautious during her time in Ohio, visiting only a select group of family and friends. Officials have so far determined that 12 people in Ohio had contact with Vinson, eight of whom are under self quarantine. Four are in frequent communication with public health staff.
The fiancé, who lives in Texas, called his workplace and told them he had been around Vinson before she got sick, according to WFAA Television in Dallas.
Coming Attractions, the bridal store that Vinson visited in Akron Saturday, closed indefinitely Thursday. Shoppers who visited the store from noon to 3:30 p.m. that day are being told to call the Summit County Ebola hotline, 330-926-3939, for instructions.
A store clerk said Vinson had already bought her dress and came back Saturday to look for bridesmaids gowns.
