Halloween Short Story Festival?

Halloween is my favourite holiday It may be too late in the month for a contest? but I feel weird without Halloween stories this time of year, can we celebrate it together?

Should we do a Festival of the Spook? a free-for-all with no contest? A raise you glass of blood to all things spooky this time of year.

Thoughts?
I have a story this weekend itching to come out that I will post before the Live! show.

There once was a Vampire from Nantucket
Who carried blood along with him in buckets
Though try as he might
His fangs were too dull to bite
So he always used a straw and a musket.

I despise halloween, but love to write & already have a story in mind.

Awesome AB! I did check if you started a contest yet and figured we'd try a laid back festival to see us through the spooky October.

If anyone could be bothered maybe stick (SpookyFest) in a title so we can see festival contributions.

I suppose any story is good for all of us, if you like to set word limit maybe 10K? Keep us enthralled and who cares about word limits!
