Colubus Day and Being White in the USA

meh. i dont care about columbus day and i damn sure dont have any 'white guilt'

i was born in the states but of course a few generations back my family immigrated here...

i know the story. the white man came here and ruined the indians and took the land. well yeah, that sucks. its not my fault though. i certainly dont feel like my house sits on stolen land.
go back far enough in any culture and you will see war, destruction, disease, land grabs, etc etc...

the white guilt is simply not there...not for me.

same deal with slavery in the states. it was terrible. it would be nice it would never have happened. it did happen though. however, i didnt have anything to do with it and i am not going to feel bad about something my ancestors 'might' have done.
