"He's doing exactly basically what we told him to do: If at any time you don't feel well, go seek some medical attention," Dyer said. "I'm being told that he's not exhibiting classic signs of the Ebola virus. It's just a matter that he doesn't feel well, and because he had contact with Mr. Duncan's apartment, they're taking every precaution."

Hopefully it's not Ebola related.

So he went inside a contaminated apartment to serve a quarantine order???? Was he part of Judge Clay Jenkins' clueless brigade?
What part of 'quarantine' do these people not understand?
And obviously the family wasn't clear on the concept either, if they then went to the store and sent one or more kids to school.

"FRISCO — Crews transported a patient exhibiting "signs and symptoms of Ebola" from a Frisco CareNow clinic to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas."
He appears to be a picture of health ayy?

Yep. They're using prudence and that is actually what they should be doing. The guy didn't feel good. He's getting checked. This isn't even a confirmation of Ebola. He's just not feeling well and getting checked out. I'd advise waiting for the actual results of many of the people that are going to be tested as many of them are likely going to be tested to be on the safe side and come out of it with a big old negative test result.
Better to be safe than sorry.

Hard to say if he looks like a picture of health because most of his body is being covered, quite appropriately given the situation. It's called using caution and I'm glad they transported him in that manner as it's smart. Like I said, whether the man has Ebola or not is up to the test results, but if they think there is the slightest chance that he has Ebola, wouldn't you prefer him to look like that instead of being transported with no precaution at all?

Did the local authorities make mistakes with Duncan? Absolutely. I never said they didn't; what I observed was that they were being more prudent and appropriately so. Seems to me that you think that they will continue to make mistakes even after the picture showing a nearly covered head to toe possible infected man. I see an improved response process.
To err is human, to forgive is divine.

That would be useful if Ebola were airborne but as it's not shown to be airborne (it'd frankly be a lot worse if it were), then such measures aren't necessary.
