Police investigate UFO spotted over Breckenridge Oct 3 2014

Breckenridge Police say they are investigating reports of three "shiny" objects in the sky Friday morning.

"NORAD is not tracking any anomalies in that location. We are investigating," said Army Major Beth Smith, NORAD spokesperson.

Multiple people have called in to report the objects floating in the sky. The Summit County Sheriff's Office is also investigating.

This photo was taken of one of the objects (object is highlighted)

Strange! Why are they investigating? That is something new. I wish more scientific investigations were done with public transparency!

I wasn't impressed until I watched the report. Interesting. Some of the residents said they made triangle and line patterns.

The reporter also said he didn't think they were weather balloons or drones because they were on their camera, not moving, for several minutes and then would "zoom" away over the mountain. Does that mean they also captured them "zooming"? He made it sound like the station caught some better footage they weren't showing.

Interesting, here is a *very* short video of one of the UFO's streaking across the sky (watch upper right very close).

I like the fact the Reporter also saw the ufo's. I just did a quick scan/check of some other ufo sites I peruse, and noted there was this one also from Breckinridge which also came in on the same date.

the report I just posted form the National UFO Reporting Center website and also seen in Breckenridge was described as a triangle.

that looked pretty much the same. I think the poster was in Utah maybe?

What I find odd is that no government agencies could provide an official explanation, usually they are very quick to provide an explanation, but in this case everyone appears to be completely silent on the issue. Long time ATS members will know that these types of "white dot" UFO's are actually extremely common, but usually only a few people see them and it doesn't typically get reported on the news, although I have seen at least two other MSM reports on the same type of UFO's.

The other strange thing is that the UFO's in question seem to have gone out of their way to make sure they were seen. They displayed themselves in such a way that it's very hard to explain this away. Since this happened in broad day light and many people saw them, the only real theory is weather balloon(s), and that is the typical explanation for these white dots in the sky, but if these objects really did move about as witnesses describe, then they could not be weather balloons.

Maybe the media is going to slowly start to inform the public? Seems like this is one of the first steps to continue "waking people up". S + F, interesting.

Certainly something in need of a definition alright, but could someone tell about this phenomenon called, "Abnoralities"

It's caused by poor reporting. 99.9% of reporters suffer from it. The rest are ones who actually do their jobs.

Just did some brief searching around for previous news reports concerning mass sightings of white dot type UFO's:

My wife and I saw the exact same thing over Las Vegas last weekend. It looked like a daytime star, and over the course of 10-15 minutes it looked like it was either fading or traveling further away from me. I saw one of these about 5 months ago by Edwards Air Force base as well. No movement at all, just looks like it fades into the ethers after a while.

BTW I did take pics, but wasn't able to see anything on them, crappy camera phone.

Funny you say that, looking at the news clip, and comparing it to that 3 second clip from member Gully, the object could be construed as looking much the same, yet the newsman watched at length so it seems. However Gully's clip is at normal view, so I'm taking it that the news clip is also at normal view, and no zoom in.

Also, Breckenridge seems to be a hotspot for October Ufo's

There was an almost identical event posted on the NUFORC site from October 2nd during the early afternoon hours in Bluffdale Utah. Here is the body of the report:

"5 white orbs cover distance

A total of five white orbs, lined up in half-circle, were seen above the point of the mountain just about mid-day in clear, blue skies. They would slowly increase distance from one another, and remain still again.

They were either moving far away from us, or left/right. They did not move up or down. Continuously moved further apart from one another.

We are very close to the NSA building."

Could be the start of a new rash of sightings? It will be interesting to see if these sightings continue.

thanks for posting this thread more believers. Which means that more of humanity will be cautious rather than simply screaming and shouting demon.

A more awake populous will greater unify Humanity. Once we collectively understand we are not alone then we will band together. But what will separate us are the different species interacting with humanity.

So our best bet is to let them duke it out. and hide underground until a victor is chosen. it's all fair game from there on. The only thing preventing all out war right now is making an airborne war publicly known, Which could unify humanity into a self destructive nature. These are troubling times. We can't exactly fend off the forces of the Abyss alone. But we can't exactly pick the losers either because if we do it could be trouble for us.

It's not like an invasion is just going to suddenly occur. I'v been sticking to this for a while, the only time the show will start is when the cataclysm starts. When the cataclysm starts. The Earth is going to be serving up portions of life to a diner of destruction and chaos. No one knows the time or the hour these events will occur. We can only look towards the messages left by the ancients who warned us about these events.

Take everything from all the formerly secret legends passed down from continent to continent. Region to Region. A savior is always otherworldly, And there are always supernatural antagonists. If humanity didn't experience these things. Where did we get the ideas from? And how do they reflect themselves on other cultures that are geographically isolated by thousands of miles of oceans and terrain? If gods and angels are not aliens, Then what does that make aliens that create life and are not solid physical beings?

There's reasons why this information is slow to be revealed. Many people on Earth have absolutely no idea what the alien phenomenon is all about. Including the military and the government.

I like this one. One earthly possibility: Does anyone here know anything on the status of "directed plasmas?" There was some interesting discussion on gubmint contractor boards about it a couple of years ago, and then the subject seemed to be scrubbed?

If it is anomalous in some way, it would seem to give more credence to the Mexico sightings/video of "orb flotillas." It also reminds me somewhat visually of the Great Falls, Montana UFO film.
