Islam has been warring on and off since the early 600's. as in 600ad or 1400 years ago abouts.

One of the major factors I see that could be responsible for the hate and mistrust is the resurgence to violence from a "peaceful Islam" over and over again in history. Annnnd in the Quran it talks about lying to gain advantage. Add those together and you have yourself a religion forever playing the victim to a mistrusting world.

You may be a history buff, but you don't know history. Islamic extremism was around back in the 70's and 80's, but their targets were more geared to Middle Eastern regional and European governments. Matter of fact, It's been around for centuries. They've just expanded their target list as they are feeling their oats since no one really does anything that significantly hurts them.

Clearly existent hidden initiators behind the scenes of the SPECIES of MAN are not acknowledged, nor are those hidden initiators PRIMARY INTEREST (which may not seem to be the same interest of man) when not seeing a potential larger picture being painted.

Its not an easy answer or responsibility, you kind of inherit the responsibility (even if unwanted, for you may just want your land mass SAFE in order to grow but have to defend and sometimes take offensive stances with potential EVOL) as other civilizations grow and your in the more advanced stages of development. Your problem is that you are looking at things in terms of good and evil. There is no such thing as good or evil. Just differing shades of gray depending on the situation. To say a country is good or evil is to reduce all of its parts, people, government, land, everything down to a simple sound bite that doesn't describe the full reality of the situation.

The U.S. Government is made up of people, just like every other nation on the planet. People tend to desire power and control and do what they can to obtain more of it. All nations on earth have this same problem. And as the nation's influence grows bigger and bigger, the problem appears to grow bigger. But that is because its faults are more visible to everyone willing to look, while a small country can fly under the radar by while doing all sorts of travesties. That doesn't make either country more evil than the other though.

I can sit and go back and forth you about all the great things that the US has done or is doing, while you counterpoint with all sorts of horrors that it has done; but we can do that song and dance for any country in the world. There is no such thing as moral high ground when everyone has skeletons in the closet.
