US have a tendency to create a show of "shock and awe", this is to demoralized the enemy, showing the mighty of powers of our military without ground incursions.
While it can work a couple times, at the end like you said the enemy just scatter and run away until the attack is over.

that is what is happening.they are scattering away from the bombing then regrouping after pilot has gone home.i hear they are out side bhagdad now.the A10 warthog can fire from many miles away with gatling gun and rockets and could take isis forces easily but at the moment they just dropping bombs on empty buildings.
the isis forces are traveling along open roads in flat desert and could easily be picked off but again the USA is bombing Toyota trucks one at a time.
who is in charge of this dumb policy?
That is exactly why leaving them to the local people is the best plan,or you really think bombing random buildings and objects and showing them on CNN will do the trick?!

People who are much much smarter than you and actually have a clue what is going on where you clearly do not. This is why you let the military do military things and not people on the internet who think ISIS forces are just driving aound by themselves and not traveling along roads packed with civilians so they can avoid being hit.

The targets are not random and out of hundreds only a few have been seen on TV. The local forces are outgunned. Airpower takes away that problem. It is called a force mutiplier. First we have the guy who thinks war is video game and you just toss some A-10s out there and all is well and now we have mr do not do anything because that was going so well before.
