What if government doesn't admit alien existence because they are being threatened to be wiped off

I had a similar thought but didn't have enough for a thread.

Maybe the structures on mars and the moon are our own from millennia gone by.
We've been brought to extinction and transported into quarantine.
Makes you wonder what we did wrong?

I fully believe that until there is peace, or a more immediate reason, the United States will never fully disclose the presence of extraterrestrials until a more sense of world peace has come over earth.

P.S. looking for active discussion due to the increase in civil deconstruction of everything we are.
