Maintainence men took a ladder and removed the 2014 block that appeared on the Georgia Guidestones, and destroyed it. I'm not sure if this is because the 2014 was a fake or what?
In 2008, the stones were defaced with polyurethane paint and graffiti with slogans such as "Death to the new world order".[3] Wired magazine called the defacement "the first serious act of vandalism in the Guidestones' history".[2]
In September 2014 it was reported that a notch carved in 2009 on the English stone had been filled by a brick inscribed "2014".[4] The newly added brick with "20" and "14" has been removed by authorities. The complete sequence was "8" "16" "20" "14", with "MM" on the top and "JAM" on the bottom face.[5]
