Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday before leaving Israel for the United Nations in New York that he would refute "all of the lies directed at us" with regard to Israel's recently concluded war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on Monday. His comments come after Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in his own UN address Friday charged that Israel had conducted "a war of genocide" in Gaza.
With memories of the Nazi holocaust still fresh in Israel, use of the word "genocide" is regarded as particularly provocative.

"After a deceptive speech by the Iranian president and an inciting speech by Abu-Mazen (Abbas) I will tell the truth of the Israeli citizens to the whole world," Netanyahu said in a statement issued on Saturday.

"In my speech in front of the UNGA and in all of my meetings, I will represent Israel's citizens, and repel, in their name, the lies and slander thrown at our country," he said.

This morning I watched some religious advertisement on TV a Man and Woman asking us for only $50.00 a month to feed a hungry survivor of the Holocaust in Russia. They took us to the old broken down unpainted barn of a place where an old woman lives with no food, lifting water from a big deep open well and told us how she suffers in the this bad smelling room with no food.

So I am thinking why would Israel not bring home these starving Holocaust survivors with no food and no friends but the Christians of the US that they are begging to feed and care for them? There is also the one showing the poor jewish people who cannot afford to celebrate the religious feast days because they have no food.

Maybe they should spend some of that weapon money on these their own holocaust survivors.

Can this philosophy be reversed? When Palestine stops getting attacked by Israel, they will stop killing in defense? As you said, nothing hard to understand.

Why the lopsidedness? Do you feel that the Palestinian's people are subhuman, without rights? Who is the aggressor? Please remember, Israel is bound by the law of occupation.

Study some history Israel has done nothing but attack and kill Palestinians since it's founding. Israel should have thought that Palestine would strike back when Israel started with the ethnic cleansing.

The position that Israel has no right to exist fuels all the violence.
If the Palestinians are such innocent angels they should lay down their arms for the world to see the evil Israelis come slaughter them. That would never happen but if the Israelis laid down their arms they would be slaughtered that very day.

Israel started this most recent war, so they should stop killing and arresting people by the hundreds if they don't want trouble. The should stop stealing Palestinian land if they don't want Palestinians to defend it.

Uhh... except if they laid down their arms their land would be taken and many slaughtered. So you seem to think everything would be fine when all evidence suggests they would be committing suicide.
