Because I wouldn't have let them watch it. It's called being a parent.

No they wouldn't have watched it on their own in their bedroom, because I didn't allow TV's in the bedrooms. I didn't allow computers in the bedroom either. That way their mom and I could monitor what they were accessing. The cell phones I gave them were only able to make phone calls and texts. Because that is all they needed.

If children are affected by any TV series it is not the fault of the directors.

It's called being a parent. Not just a breeder.

First I will state I am a parent and this is my personal opinion.

It is the parents responsibility to monitor what your child is watching, reading, and listening to. If your child needs to watch TV to go sleep there is something wrong, even so if your child does need tv to fall asleep as a parent why wouldn't you turn the tv off after they have fallen asleep?

But onto the source material it is a cartoon for adults with a dark sense of humor it was not designed or marketed to children as far as i can tell. It is no worse than many of the other shows they air around the same time, I.e. metalaccolyps, the heart she holler etc etc. This shock television or video is nothing new people have been "enjoying" for some reason the faces of death videos for years he'll decades at this point. Is some of it in poor taste or reprehensible definitely but some tool for the illuminati or satanic cults I think not.

Just my opinions though I could be wrong

As the TS I have to add that I don't live in the States, I have never seen anything broadcasted by Adult Swim.
I just saw the first video in the OP somewhere on the internet, and while I can understand that it could just be the MO of the channel, I don't find it that incomprehensible should people find this offensive. And I wouldn't dismiss this straight away as just the MO, there could very well be more to it. I remain open to all possible scenarios.

Anyway, it's interesting to see all the different opinions, and the discussion it has brought forth.

Why is it about affect? As I said earlier, this won't warrant much to the non believer, or believer, nor will just viewing symbols adversely affect your daily life either way. This thread is discussing how those in control flaunt symbolism through networks and media outlets for those apt enough to catch it.

Yeah, there's blame on the parents, but I wouldn't say that AS and CN share the same network by coincidence.
I doubt the majority of parents even realize a mature program like adult swim can take advantage of their kids when they fall asleep watching Teen Titans.

First off if parents are giving there kids iPhone before they are able to use them that is on the parents plain and simple. Parents should monitor to the best of there abilities what there kids are intaking.

As soon as I saw this the other night during American Dad. I knew there was going to be a thread about it. ATS did not disappoint lol. It is always funny to me. When people who are all about their freedom. Want to stop what other people are watching. Just turn the TV off and ignore it. If you are offended.

I was curious as to what effects this horrible crime (the crime being the messaging hidden deep within cartoons) might have on the unsuspecting populace.

I know what this website is for. That's why I'm here. And I didn't ridicule anyone in this thread for anything. I made a statement about people who believe fringe theories about reality, but that statement is true. All the evidence for fringe theories is dubious at best and requires a HUGE confirmation bias to believe.

My point is, it is degenerate of Adult Swim to broadcast these subliminals to kids who fall asleep watching cartoon network, and could wake up to this. I guess I forgot about the unforgiving nature of corporations in America. This seems normal to us, because we've been conditioned to believe so.

Psh. There have been FAR worse shows on adult swim than this. In any case, a kid falling asleep with the television on (parents should be preventing such activities to begin with, especially the ones who care enough about a child's viewing history to care about this show) only to wake up and see this wouldn't be exposed to enough subliminal messaging to effect their minds even IF it was real. So what you just said here is just useless fearmongering.

Very true. But when people realize they are in the minority and the ratings hold. Then they go into ban mode. Based solely on what they believe without taking into consideration the beliefs of others. Adult swim has been around since 2001. It is aimed almost exclusively towards college aged adults. If your kids are watching this. You are a bad parent. I am 30. I loved the old school Adult Swim stuff like Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Sealab 2021. That I watched when I was the target audience. The new stuff not so much. But its not meant for me.

I occasionally get a chuckle from Childrens hospital and re runs of American Dad on Adult Swim. I also checked out Black Jesus recently. I did not find it particularly funny. I will not be checking out the show that is the subject of the OP. I saw the promo. I did not find it funny. Guess the subliminals did not work on me lol. I was not offended. I know the Williams Street guys do this just to get the reaction seen in this thread. If you are so weak minded that your afraid of watching a promo and comedy cartoon because you think the subliminals wlll turn you into a satanist and Illuminati puppet.
