Islamic State: Islamic Caliphate or Greater Israel?

Two main opposing theories emerge from the whole Islamic State (IS) situation:

1) IS exists in order to establish a worldwide Islamic Caliphate. Their main goals include converting non-Muslims to Islam or killing them, and establishing Sharia Law as the standard law framework worldwide.

2) IS exists to further the goals of Israel. Under the guise of a radical Islamic terror organisation, their main goal is to incite violence against people living in the "Greater Israel" region so that Israel can eventually occupy this "promised land".

Which theory do you believe is more truthful?

Let's hope everyone starts pulling in the same direction, deal with ISIS then after ISIS is fertilizing desert daisies if the old status quo would like to go back to killing each other over ideological and religious BS, then so be it.

People may believe there are only a handful of reasons why ISIS exists ... but there are in fact thousands and thousands of reasons.

Ever notice how the Saudis are always so conveniently left out of the circle of problems? If you're looking for the cornerstone, you need look no further. There's a whole lot of quid pro quo going on behind the scenes to the tunes of hundreds of billions in gold and cash. Biggest money laundering scheme you can imagine ... so big we're blind to it.

ETA: And Israel? Israel is simply playing the foil to Islamic influences in the region. Did you ever think Clarence Clemons and Bruce Springsteen didn't get along?

I think Therealjohndoe was implicating the Israeli government, not the jews in general. I think ISIL is a joint effort between the US and Israeli government.

Israel. Notice how Israel's been bombing Syria? They use their agents in the US to help them and drum up world support for a fake cause created by them so that they can destabilize the Middle East. They want to expand Israels borders and make it the "capitol of the world", or: The epi-center of the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is Israels lapdog, the same as the US. Many countries governments, etc., have been infiltrated by Zionist lunatics. This is a fact.

He said nothing about Jews he said Israel. In case you didn't know Israel isn't a Jewish state it is a Zionist state. And if you look at the Zionist actions over the ages Zionist are nothing but terrorist like ISIS. They financed Hitler while he was killing the Jews in the camps. They formed terrorist groups and attacked America in an attempt to get it to go to war with Egypt. When they were given land to live on they started ethnic cleaning the neighboring lands so they could take over that land.
