There's a strong temptation to listen to Dave Stieren today. I'm willing to bet the level of self righteous indignation and feigned outrage will be quite entertaining.

Any recession that his this country has no affect on Alaska.

There is so many job openings it's crazy & the money is fantastic. While other world in that state compared to the lower 48 & no the cost of living isn't really that much higher.

?? the state is still in the US they still have Walmart, yes the cost of living is high and if you go out in winter not properly dressed you can loose parts...how about the airplane size mosquitoes and angry Moose :-)

permafrost is melting ruining foundations and the some places groundwater is full of heavy minerals that has to be removed.

It is one of the largest growing populations in the USA from tourist visiting then deciding to stay.

In my day there were lots of times you felt like walking off the job, but you didn't if you had any self-respect. You at least were decent enough to work out a notice.

And if you're smart you don't quit a job before you have another one securely lined up, and you don't leave a path of wreckage behind you. You show a little bit of responsibility and culture.

Just because she has a business doesn't mean she smokes. Many people see the benefit of legalized MJ and they don't partake. Specious reasoning.

And you lump all of them into the same category? She did have a job lined up as she did mention and how dare we judge her for speaking her mind and doing what she wants with her life.

If you will look, I said "many" not all. And it is her that chose to be a public figure while doing it on TV, I can't control the brush she uses to paint, all I do is call it like I see it.

Doing what she did...get ur mind outta the gutter..doing it was quitting on liv tv, using a word (f$%k) against FCC rules, and lumping it all together with the MJ thing she does. personally to me it doesn't matter if she's smoking it or just promoting it, maybe she just doesn't inhale, too, that's a possibility. I tend to think she smokes, that's my impression, I could find out by doing the research, just don't want to know that badly. No matter, either way, she did her cause harm in what she did/said on live tv and how she quit her job. I mean, really, what's the point?

For sure she's going to get a lot of "instant gratification support" from like-minded tokers. A year from now or 5 years from now it might be different. She probably just slammed one door behind her for good.
