How do you know how many Points you have

Bill could probably provide a more definitive response here, but points as they were known no longer exist.

it's basically your posts #, and was a way to 'buy stuff' years back. an outdated/antiquated feature from BB forum software that allowed members to 'purchase' things like avatars, custom titles, background images, etc.
Since ATS has evolved into a 'ground-up' rewrite [custom code] site.... they, your posts counts, not necessarily points, still continue to factor into the WATS and Karma scores along with the stars and flags, as well.


It's a sort of 'secret sauce' that Bill came up with and hasn't been revealed to date that I'm aware of.

In essence then points deductions, due to staff actions, will continue to effect the WATS and Karma 'scores', but no straight up 'points' or 'warn' badges as per the olde.

Unless youre searching for some kind of mis-guided glory...points, stars, flags shouldnt matter to anyone. If you are just here for that...or think thats what being here is ALL ABOUT...you should find somewhere else for your pats on the back......or kicks in the pants.
