Promises, Promises!

Such a great and catchy song. Even though I wasn't born in this era I still love the music from it. It's far better than anything being released today.

Yeah, pretty much anything before 9.11.01 was good times for me, but the 80s culture holds a special place in my heart.

Heres my contribution:

Op: That is an awesome song i have to get it now! If you really wanna immerse yourself into 80s culture, and hesr some good tunes along the way, you cant forget 80s movies and their soundtracks.

Bonus Trivia- This song was originally suposed to be for a Rocky movie, Rocky 2 I believe, but they chose Eye of the Tiger instead, and then the people making Karate Kid took the song. There is a lyric that says "history repeats itself" which was designed for the Rocky sequel which didnt make sense for the Karate Kid movie which was the first entry to the Karate Kid series but they liked the song so much they used it anyway.
