Police chief says 'I know what happened to missing Malaysian Airlines plane'

A police chief has claimed he knows what happened to missing Malaysian Airlines jet MH370 - leading to fears officials have always known what caused it to disappear. General Sutarman, the head of the Indonesian Police Force, reportedly made the astonishing claim during a meeting of senior police and airline officials.

Reports say he told the meeting: "I spoke to the Malaysian Police Chief Tun Mohammed Hanif Omar. I actually know what had actually happened with MH370."
His comments have led to concerns that officials have always known what caused the plane - which vanished six months ago with 239 passengers and crew on board - to disappear.

The Police Chiefs comments were witnessed by a number of high ranking police officers and representatives of Lion Air.
The Inspector General of Police in Malaysia 'Khalid Abu Bakar' has told of his shock over the comments and said he would speak to the Indonesian police chief.

I believe the Malaysian government knows exactly what happened to that plane and where it is now. If that's the case many people know what happened and may have told their family and friends, who then told their family and friends. I'd like to hear what this guy has to say, it could very well be true or turn out to be information passed along like a game of telephone.
Wonder if we will ever really know what happened to MH370...

Hmmm, behind closed doors at a meeting of Police chiefs and airline officials? What was the meeting about? Even the Chief of Malaysian Police was shocked and said he would have a word with him?

What's going on here? How could he say something like that without backing it up?

Making that type of statement without giving the answer..... One would think the assembled people would have pushed for him to provide the information.

To be honest it's unlikely a person in his position, would make a comment like this if it wasn't true... either way he has probably destroyed his career.
