I just wanted to look around ya know...
See if anything cool caught my eye... you know, something like that 41 Mag Ruger Super Redhawk on that table over there...

low miles, only ever shot on Sundays by a little old lady from Pasadena... Go granny go...

Naw honey... I don't want to buy it, I just want hold it, stroke it, caress it ... pardon me we need some alone time here...

No, I couldn't... not unless you threw in the scope.... and a holster and couple three boxes of ammo....

No , baby, I didn't buy it... that nice man over there is letting me take it home to try out... ya know see if we want to start dating on a regular basis...

Yeah, my wife didn't believe any of that crap either... So I'm in the dog house... but I got a nice toy to fondle where I'm there.

I'm not supposed to visit gun shows or Harley dealerships without adult supervision. Sigh.

That looks kinda heavy. I should talk, my gun probably weighs four and a half pounds with the bullets without a scope.

Then you shoulda purchased a shotgun with a telescopic sight. Besides, doesn't that handgun need a tripod to hold it up. I'm a gun lover, but not crazy.

I don't understand handguns with optical scopes. Is it just me?

Love your new gun I actually own the same thing but the longer version. I would suggest getting rid of the scope anything made in China is a bad idea for big caliber handguns. And yes I have owned them before and yes they did lose center.

Probably just you.

A handgun with an optic and a solid rest can be accurate and effective at distances most people wouldn't believe.

150+ yards with a .22 handgun? Yep.

400+ yards with a rifle-caliber handgun? Yep.

200+ yards with a 41 magnum like the one in the OP? Definitely.

If you ever catch hell from your wife about purchasing a gun, here's an easy way to shut her down:

Gun collecting is one of the ONLY hobbies that has a guaranteed break-even or return on investment if you buy correctly.

You can buy a used gun, shoot it and enjoy it for years, then resell it for what you paid or sometimes more.

Ask her to name one other hobby that works that way.

LEGOS. Some sets double or triple their value, even if they've been put together and are missing their original box.
