Really you all picked the Browns with Johnny Football at the helm to win? Quit watching sports coverage, sportscasters talk out of their ass half the time and don't really know anything. I love my Browns but I will be praying Johnny gets a career ender so he can get a job with Tebow.

It wasn't Johnny that allowed 200 yards rushing.
Not one expected cinncy to put 30 points on the Browns.
Johhny felt like he had to do to much imo. And didn't get much help from his wide outs either.

I mean he still looked bad and made throws that you would expect a rookie to make.
He looked like a guy playing his first nfl game though

It is simple Johnny is bad and will always be bad. The offense has issues going on that changing Quarterbacks will not fix. But most Cleveland fans are morons and don't understand that. As to allowing 200 rushing yards, the defense is banged up and missing key players. And when defenses are pretty much on the field for the duration of the game they get tired. Just admit it you bought the hype, and that is all Johnny is hype.

We had a perfectly good QB, that has endured nothing but abuse from the media all season despite a winning record. Now bowing to the uneducated fans and media pressure they probably screwed him up to. This team was never a serious playoff contender, they don't have and never had the depth for that this year.

He didn't do much less then hoyer has.
Look I was all for keeping Johnny on the bench when Brian was winning.
Johhny did not live up to the hype today, like many many rookie qbs did in their first start.

They took on a first place team and got beat, you think hoyer would of put up 30 + points?

Hoyer easily could have, and the offense responds well with him. But it would most likely still have been a loss. The amount of injuries they have right now just make that the most likely scenario. Hoyer wasn't the problem, there are issues with the offense starting with losing Alex Mack and then Cameron going out with a concussion for a few weeks. But the thing that really hurt them the most is when you have a place kicker that can be out kicked by a high school player. The only thing good about letting Manziel play was it put the focus where it should have been to begin with, an offensive line and receivers that have issues.

Next week Carolina will destroy Johnny Football.

So then did he not live up to the hype or did he play like a rookie with a bad oline and issues at receiver?

He made every rookie mistake, surprise.

I will agree hoyer might have put points on the board but don't fault them for seeing what they have.

I doubt their game plan for him involved being down 17 so early.
Hoyer had the benefit of the d keeping them in games, Johhny didn't get that today.

He is no russel Wilson, but this game should not define him

Just don't see how you can say the team isn't built to win this year and then say that the guy making his first nfl start isn't living up to the hype.
One game is the sample size needed?

I will say he probably shouldn't of been a first rounder but most def drafted

I think he had potential, and has potential, to be above average quarterback. I think the biggest reason for his failure, is not taking the league and this moment in his life as seriously as he should have/could have. I.e. the partying, the commercials, the late nights out. Acting as if he has 'made it somewhere', 'done something', 'achieved something', when he hasnt. He should have been locked in a room with his team, studying playbooks, waking up, working out, throwing the ball, getting ever better. That is, if he cared about his legacy, his talent, and football above all else, and could say, 'hey, I can party later, when the seasons over, I really care about being the best football player I can be'. I think he thought " I am the best quarterback, everyone loves me, I think it, everyone thinks it, NFL will be easy". Boom, reality check. Lets see how he responds, if he is truly a competitor, truly a champ, truly a lover of the game, or if he is just a lucky kid who had a way to make a few quick millions.
