The brief synopsis is this:

Two guys go to a party as cops, after the party when they leave, hot drunk girls throw them selves at them. They take at look at each other smile and thing its awesome so they decide to escalate it at various degrees.

Very funny movie, I would watch again soon.

Worst POS I've seen in months.

I go to three or four movies a week, at least, and this is the only one I walked out of all summer.

Did you notice though, it has to be about cops or less people will see it?

Funny cops, like Starsky and Hutch, Police Academy, Car 54, where are you?

Too bad they don't exist in real life.

Thats sad to hear, i guess its worth saying that its over the top many times, there is a plot structure and a few good lines, lots of swearing and the two friends slapping each other (in a comedy not violent way). It is funny to me to see a cop slap another cop. Bucause thats pretty rare.

Eh?

I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about?

Car 54 is more than FIFTY years old.

Starsky and Hutch, THIRTY FIVE.

Police Academy THIRTY.

How old are you?

Old enough to know better than to be sucked into one more Keystone cops routine…

Goofball cops are one thing. Pretending to be cops for fun and girls is another. That is a felony as I recall.
Did the two guys end up going to prison for long terms-or- did the win the day and become heros?
The later I bet. Nope, too far from reality for me.

Car 54, where are you?

From memory''''''
There's a hold up in the Bronx
Brooklyn's broken out in fights.
There's a traffic jam in Harlem
that's backed up to Jackson Heights.
There's a scout troupe short a child
Khrushchev''s due at Iydlwildddddd.....
Car 54 where arrrrre you.

That can tell you how old I am.

Edit.. As if Car 54 had anything to do with reality.....

Yes it is, but real cops have things you cant buy like badges and badge numbers. You cant buy those.

The later, even though they argue with each other and bait each other to go out gain

Its not a serious comedy in any way, i wouldnt dress as cop because i cant buy what i would need to to look genuine and people should know what makes a cop look like a cop ensure you dont get pretenders actually doing police work

Yeah varied for sure, I'd heard this filmed sucked.
I heard Neighbors with Seth Rogen & Zac Efron sucked too and I watched last night and while its not going to win awards and has zero originality, it was ok, worth a watch, funny in places.

The Lego Movie was one of my faves. It got a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That's very rare.

Why don't you consider it a comedy?

Its not aimed at adults really, but like toy story and others it turned unexpectedly to be quite funny.

Who says lego is normally funny, i played with a lot of actual lego when i was young and it wasnt a comedy. So my expectation was low.

The Lego Movie was 90% aimed at adults... kids wont get any of the references really and the digs at government and conformity etc.

It was certainly a one-of-a-kind. I thought it was aimed at an adult audience too, but that's not how it was marketed.

In case anyone isn't familiar with 'Rotten Tomatoes' here's their review of The Lego Movie.

www.rottentomatoes.com...

At one point in the movie I turned around to watch how the little kids were reacting. They seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Walked out of that one as well, but that was spring, not summer.

Having said that, Seth Rogen's 'This is the End' was one of my favourites from this past winter.
