I am not certain it apply's to today or Russia, the oldest prophecy's are preeminant though from a christian point of view all will come to pass, I remember a story about a US squad or platoon during WW2 that saw some very heavy action but never lost a man, apparently this group of soldier's of different denominations and faith's all said Psalm 91 together.

For me though I truly do not believe the bible can be used to predict exact dates as after all in the book of revelation it point's out they will not know the hour or the moment of these thing's being fullfiled until they are.

I remembered a bit so have edited it, I have a few bible's around but must admit is has been a while since I read one.
It is kind of a comforter for they who fear but trust in God and prayer's like this are best said as part of a group but I would love to hear it in it's original hebraic form sang as it would have been.

Yet if we suppose the Bible to be written by God, then we need not limit ourselves to understanding it's wording from the perspective of the people of that time where indeed present day Russia does lay to the north. But on a broader scope, which certainly would be Gods scope, the north could be, well, the entire northern hemisphere.

From this perspective the northern kingdom could just as easily be The US. Right?

I don't think its possible. Way to old, large, powerful and militarized. We will never see a (even though the basic reason was to get rid of the CZAR)...another Bolshevik revolution to reform and signal the demise of Russia.

Wait, you do know that Russia and Israel have the closest ties they have ever had do you not? Look it up it is no secret. Putin admires Israel. How does that fit into to your silly zionest theory?

For many of the last few years...Russia has usually been depicted as a counter balance to the western powers, not in the mainstream media, but in forums such as this one.

What happened?

on February 22nd of this year, I had a dream of a strange woman. without going into all the freaky details...it involved a karate chop to the neck of some dude, a carjacking and a rape....but the whole situation was a trap she had set and she was in control the whole time.

it seems this woman's old boyfriend was no longer able to provide the security she required so she got rid of him...he kind of looked like the guy from the Hot Mug Shot guy...and she required a new security detail.

most may not apply any of this to the Ukraine situation and/or Russia, but it does.

long story short...Ukraine is a complete debacle and questions regarding its right to exist as a separate country are now arising...Russia is going to expose it and the strange woman is turning everyone against them.

Russia is not in danger; Ukraine is.

has anyone ever notice the carjacking depicted on Jamaican Flag seat covers or notice how the flag looks like the mask a robber would wear?

My point is you never know what events will cause other things to take place, it was a shock when the Soviet Union fell apart almost over night. Could the same happen to Russia ?

Silly? It's fact. In this case, I would garner that Putin lives by: Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer. Although I did read a discussion once where people were saying that Putin was a Zionist himself. Either way, I could care less.
