I don't see any reference in the story to "alien" technology. How is a large megaphone with high-frequency sonics beyond our present technology level?

Acording to the story, it explains how sound can manipulate our dna.

I don't know if this is true or not, Doesn't the Dolphins have the power to cure some diseases when it sings to people that plays with it. Is that why some doctors suggest therapy with a dolphin?!
