(CNN) -- An "active shooter incident" was reported Monday morning at Fort Lee, an Army installation in Virginia, the post said on its website.
The installation is locked down, the post said.
Additional details were not immediately available.
Army officials say there is an "active shooter incident" at Fort Lee in Petersburg, Virginia.
Fort Lee officials say the incident was reported at Combined Arms Support Command Headquarters, building 5020.
The post is currently on lockdown. No other information has been released.
Fort Lee is an Army post and headquarters of the U.S. Army's Combined Arms Support Command and a number of other defense traning istitutions. Fort Lee is located 20 miles south of Richmond, Virginia.
