Baptism is does symbolize immersion into the water of life. We are here now, baptized into the flood of Noah as beasts in an ark.
1 Peter 3
19 After being made alive,[d] he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.
In Peter's own words, baptism symbolizes what it means to be born again. Jesus said it in John 3. You MUST be born again. He was the firstfruits of those who rise form the dead. He made proclamation to them in the pit, then brought them out again on dry land in the waters of life. Baptism symbolizes this. We symbolize this when we are baptized in church, but the fact of the symbol is our on involution and evolution in the material world.
Read my linked thread on the letters and words of creation.

it has to be to prevent evolution to death. since we see all species are alive and well in spite of evolution towerds death can only explained by intelligent desighn which had already been seen and existant.
the number of species alive today are HEAVILY outweighed by the number that have gone extinct since the birth of life on this planet. and more species are lost with every hour that passes. thousands of endangered lifeforms will be extinct by this time tomorrow. evolution does not guarantee survival. you would know that if you did your research.
thanks krazy. not sure it will do any good though.
and three thousand new species are added every day in recent years out of a sudden after scientists categorized all species 70 years ago. does not sound like evolution, but creation
are you suggesting that these organisms are popping out of thin air? again, please define "creation". are we talking about the magical process wherein a species is supernaturally manifested from a pile of nothing whatsoever? or evolution as viewed through a theology-tinted lens?
yes they popping out of thin air, since scientists discovered and catalohued all existing species from mosquitos to deep sea bacteria and even drwn them and finsihed the job 70 years ago, and then 20 years ago they started discovering new species they estimate according to sample and statistics they should be 3000 new species a day.
creation.
What exactly are you bringing to this conversation? Seriously pal, to me it sounds like cryptic hoo ha.

99% of all species on the planet have gone extinct
Does that help?

And life has not been on earth billions of years as you claim. Also, the millions of years life has been on earth, has not given it sufficient time to create the complexities we see in life. There in is your enigma.

Will repeat what was stated in the OP:
"And this is where so many get it wrong. Creationism is a belief that the six creative days in Genesis one had to be literal. That is God created the earth and the universe, and everything in them about six thousand years ago, in six literal 24-hour days. "
Creationists believe that the Bible states that the entire universe was created around six thousand years ago, in six twenty-four hour days.
Creationism is NOT taught in the Bible.
Creationists do not merely believe in God. They believe this extremely narrow-minded and dreadfully inaccurate portrait of the Bible, which actually detracts from the truth.
Evolutionists will constantly chide on that fact. That is all.
The rest of the thread was just explaining the Genesis account from a scientifically accurate point of view.

More preachy nonsense. 50,000 chromosomes in the human body huh? More like 46.
a good example of intelligent design is humans making breaeds of dogs since ancient times. these breeds never exsited in nature by evolution but by humans (intelligent beings) doing intelligent design on dogs and wolves.

On the first day there is darkness on the earth. That is NO light from the already existing luminaries in the sky, the sun, the moon, or the stars cannon penetrate to the surface? Why is this? NO DOUBT because the earths atmosphere is thick, perhaps like that of a sister-planet Venus, in this stage in its development:
(Genesis 1:2) . . .Now the earth was formless and desolate, and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep, and God’s active force was moving about over the surface of the waters.
