I never said racism died in 1964. No where in my post did I state that. If that is what you took from my post then I can't help what you perceive.

I am fully aware that racism is alive and kicking but let's be real here - it is prevalent and growing among the African Americans. And please don't tell me I don't know what I am talking about because I am married to a black man. We talk about these issues. I have been to many events where blacks are the predominate attenders. I and my husband have heard the whispers and experienced the "looks". Even just being out to dinner we get "side eyed" or someone will walk past us and mumble under their breath. I participate in other forums and witness the hatred for whites by blacks. So yeah as I have stated quite a few times it exists on ALL sides of the isles! Implying that it only exists within the white communities is denial and doesn't solve the problem.

We are in total agreement about the sentences handed down for marijuana arrests. I find it ludicrous that people receive more time for possession of marijuana than murder. When it comes to hard drugs I think that harsh sentences need tobe given. It is a choice to participate in distributing them. As I stated earlier in this thread parent/s should invest in their children to make sure they don't fall prey to this "game". If someone disagrees with this argument - denial.

"Ex cons" do have a hard time reentering society. I am not sure what the answer for this is. I do know that places like Good Will have programs through donations and the selling of products within their stores to help integrate "ex cons" with obtaining employment. I don't know the statistics of success.

You can't be serious with your voter registration laws comment! Those are put into place because we had dead people, Mickey Mouse et. al. voting. There are many blacks holding offices in local, state and federal goverment. So your point here is moot. Heck even if this became reality we have the New Black Panther Party who will come to the rescue wearing military gear and wilding night sticks for the specific intent of voter intimidation.

It really is us against them. We the people against the goverment. It is a divide and conquer agenda. As long as we are distracted by - black vs white man vs woman, left vs right, straight vs lgbt et. al. - the divide and conquer train will keep moving forward with no obstacles to deter it.

The murders became known as the "Zebra Killings" because police working the case used frequency "Z." Many people thought that the term "Zebra" referred to the fact that the crimes were all white-on-black murders.

However, there were fifteen or more Zebra killers. As Clark Howard chronicled in his book, Zebra: The True Account of the 179 Days of Terror in San Francisco, the killers received help from fellow Black Muslims, and the Black Muslims paid the legal fees of all of the arrestees except for Harris. There would otherwise have been no way for them to elude capture. Two of the reasons contributing to the Zebra killers' success were the authorities' political cowardice in covering-up their knowledge of organized racial, mass murder, and their refusal to keep houses of worship under surveillance (sound familiar?).

More than likely you are having mostly Black women problems who are viewing you as a threat,perhaps not having a man of their own especially one that's worth a damn (black Male shortage),I am will to bet that's where you are having most of your problem and the other some blacks are just plain racist.

Not in gerrymandered places like Furguson,and until this time the New Black Panthers were a non entity I do suspect unfortunately that they will capitalize on the Furguson event to pick-up new members thanks to media exposure.

Simply that the often quoted talking point used by Black folks themselves as well as others that there are more Black youths in jail or wrapped-up in the criminal justice system ,is no longer true and haven't been so for some 20yrs now,but the talking point still remained the same.

This might be him, notice the baldy head. Light complexion, but the video was from a crappy phone. Or it could be one of his fellow assassins.

For example, that black man couldn't be Brett Olsen.

That photo is from the Salt Lake City police academy graduating class of 2007. Note when the cadets graduated: November 30th, 2007.

Brett Olsen is an officer who shot and killed the Trolley Square shooter - February 12, 2007.

Thus, he wouldn't have even graduated yet.

Also, it's very hard to tell skin color from that second image, but it really doesn't look to me like that police officer is as dark as the person you circled in the graduating class photo.

Are we even sure it was an Officer Olsen who shot the teenager this time?

There are 2 Officer Olsen's on the SLC PD. The one involved with the Trolley Square shooting and shooting the dog is white. He's the one in the photo I posted on the 1st page of this thread. The Chief of Police said in this article about the dog shooting, "which Officer Olsen". There are obviously two. One white and one black. The black one shot Dillon. The chief cowardly identified him as not white, so he's not the one involved in the Trolley Square shooting.

"The raging debate has gone on, on the Internet and throughout, as to who the officer is, and which Officer Olsen," Burbank said during an afternoon news conference. "Well, it’s Officer Brett Olsen, and, yes, he is the hero of Trolley Square, or one of them."

I think that assumption is speculative at best. People could have been speculating if it was Brett Olsen or someone else that they didn't know about, as Brett Olsen was somewhat well-known after the Trolley Square incident. That doesn't mean there actually is another Officer Olsen. It's certainly a possibility, though.

It is a pretty sure bet that there is only one Brett Olsen in the department.
