I wonder if the other three in Seattle were as well.

The other three were black, however two of them were murdered for being gay.

The more we cry about what they do the more weight is given to their actions.

That's the only rational I can see behind some of the coverage. I'm unsure how they choose the stories they do to blow up and what the world is being steered towards. I just can't find the pattern in it, above my pay grade I guess.

I do not consider media coverage of this to be publicity. There needs to be a dialogue and the only way to have one is if people are aware. Which most are not.

It sounds like he was not picky about his victims race then. He was a homicidal maniac and might be claiming his reasons are justified in his twisted mind. Hate crimes for certain. I thought I read that there were 3 people arrested for the murder of that college student in New Jersey. That happened on Livingston Avenue?

I see these sickos as attention seekers, the least we give them the better we are off, they can rot or get fried knowing that there terrible action does not get used by copy cats or deranged groups. just my opinion do.

This man committed first degree murder on three accounts. He knocked out people for ever. This has nothing to do with a white or black issue.

This man clearly reacted inappropriately to inappropriate actions.

May the innocent rest in peace.

The story isn't covered because it makes people think: "Maybe we did kill a lot of innocent people in those countries?" That makes the US military look evil. TV cannot allow that.

I actually think he was 'picky' as he singled out the two gay men by soliciting them on a website they frequented and allegedly killed the New Jersey man because he was white. The last is coming from some local law enforcement personnel that I speak with.

The others were allegedly acting as his fences for stolen goods as there were a rash of thefts in our neighborhood prior to the shooting and are now accessories to the murder as they were allegedly there.

He was from Livingston but was killed on Northfield Ave in West Orange which is, sadly, three blocks from my house.

So what is your suggestion for creating a dialogue about this event and how to be vigilant in e prevention of future, similar, crimes?

That animal that beheaded Foley said this was coming to America. There's tons of them here. I walk around super alert to my surroundings and aware at all times who's around me. I'm not going to be a victim for the knockout "game" or any other crime. I really think it's time to close off all immigration into this country. We have enough people here now.

So you don't think it was a hate crime at all? The OP just said his sources said the white guy was selected because of his race. That's a hate crime. And the 2 gay guys were killed for being gay. Those are hate crimes also. You don't like the stats I posted about Holder's record on the knockout "game"? I don't either.

Did the killer see in the future, because what you just pointed out makes no sense at all.

You'll have to spell it out for me. The killer see into the future? Does not compute.

You said that isis called for these actions, it was my understanding that these murders happened before isis was in the news. So either you dont understand the topic of the op, or you mind is clouded by fox news.

The young man who perpetrated these crimes was clearly filled with hate when committing these crimes. For sure.

What I mean is that, these crimes are a reaction to what happened in the past decade. He didn't just wake up one day and decide to kill those people. There is a motive behind it. I am not trying to advocate that what he did was the right reaction, on the contrary. He has taken the lives of the innocent people period. Those who have taken lives in those countries were wearing an army uniform so it is okay. Wrong is wrong no matter what you are wearing.

Are you surprised that what has happened in those countries meaning millions of innocent dying is leading to more hate?

I am not. You can't cure hate with hate. If to stop one terrorist you kill ten innocent, chances are you are creating more terrorists rather then stopping one. Now, apply this rule on the scale of millions. Think about how many had nothing to do with Saddam or Osama Bin Laden and died, the loved ones of the innocent are perfect broken hearted people to recruit for a sick agenda. What is happening now is not ridding the world of terrorist, it is creating more.

Hate will make you do bad things, don't fall for it. Peace.

people who kill in the name of Islamic revenge or Muslim belief are people who just want to murder and justify it.

Mo murderer will truly ever go unpunished.

Oh now I understand what you mean. My point was that tons of Muslims have been coming to America for years. Among them are the radical like this killer. I didn't mean the scum who beheaded Foley personally instructed the killer in this threads topic. You ever hear about the Zebra Killings?

they call it collateral damage it happens in war.

But this guy these were targeted killings for pleasure and when he got caught he would say it was for Islamic revenge to justify his wickedness.
