"I GOT WARRANTS"....

Seems Dorian Johnson, the star witness in the Michael Brown shooting is just digging a bigger hole for the defense in this case. Information has been bought forward that he lied to police as well as has an open warrant.

has an outstanding warrant for a 2011 theft in Jefferson City and pleaded guilty for filing a false police report related to that theft.
St. Louis ABC affiliate ABC 17 cross referenced Johnson’s name against several records and discovered the warrant.
Johnson will be the star witness for any potential prosecution proceedings against Officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Brown. Johnson was walking with Brown when the shooting occurred.
He has already done multiple media appearances where he falsely claimed Brown was shot by Wilson in the back. He also has claimed that Brown never reached for Wilson’s gun, was “shot like an animal” and that Brown had his hands up and told Wilson he was unarmed.
Johnson’s claims helped inspire the protests and riots in Ferguson over the past 10 days, as well as the “Hands up, don’t shoot” rallying cry of the protesters and their supporters.

So if he has outstanding warrants, why is he not in jail and being protected by the DOJ?

Obviously because he's a little angel, how dare you report the news some people quote this young angel to back up their claims regarding the police in Ferguson.

(sarcasm end)

Well some one is going to come by and say it is cause he has federal immunity and then some confusion if that is cause he is going to be a state witness for the prosecution side or for the defense.
But his lawyer 'has taken care of it', which could mean a whole number of things.
IMO the simplest answer be it being delayed until after this investigation.
It was a failure to appear in court, so a rescheduled court date would take care of that IMO.

Since there is 2 threads I'll put my reply in both

This kid will end up in witness protection.

Or should it be witless protection ?

I'd love to see his "testimony" without a script and rehearsing.

Liar? Warrants, ya say? Well I just don't believe it.(/sarcasm). I'm sure Eric Holder will see to it that he walks. And if he does, then people need to rally at the courthouse.

The biggest takeaway here is not that he was a thief but that he lied to police. It is not that far of a stretch to then think he would 'lie' about the police.

From the first time he started to tell the story it just did not fit. There is no LEO that would attempt to pull a man the size of MB into a car #1. I can understand, he is scared, just saw his buddy shot but this, to me, is just another nail in the coffin that this was a 'keepin it real gone wrong' situation.

Prayers for his(MB's) parents as I am sure this is not the path they wanted for their son.

I'm being a little nit picky but there is no ABC 17 in St Louis. ABC is channel 30 in ST. Louis.

It seems Mr. Johnson has had more than his 15 minutes of fame, if this is true, his eyewitness testimony will be impeached before he ever takes the stand due to his past history of lying to save his own ass. However a Grand Jury will want to talk to him at length. And he has NO Attorney in those proceedings and cannot be coached in his testimony. Thats if this even gets to a grand jury. which I seriously doubt. Any prosecutor could destroy him.

Would you be interested in the police report at all?
Of the 3 people that were there that day, 1 is dead and is not going to say anything, the other has given his side and the final person, the cop, still has not said what happened.
When do we get the police report? It has to be written already, why has it not been released?

its an ongoing investigation, the other citizen can freely talk to the news, the cop on the other hand really cannot. I mean he probably could but it wouldn't be wise until the investigation is finished.

I don't want him to give an interview, I want the police report released.
Unless it has not been written yet, which I can't imagine that being the case, it doesn't seem right to hold the report.
It just screams that it will be written after they investigate it, which is not how police reports go.

unless his report may incite more violence it is wise to hold onto it until the investigation is complete as well, the report will be signed and dated with neutral witnesses I am sure. I would like to see it as well but I can also understand the reluctance to make it public at this moment in time. It could add to the already sticky issue in Ferguson

but don't you think the "original" police report is in neutral hands by now ?

Surely, we all realize this isn't really just about Michael Brown and Officer Wilson by now, right?

Right?

What is it about or what is it you are lead to believe it is really about and why? Militarization of police? Suppression of civil rights? Looting is fun? What's your take on it, I'm interested to hear your opinion.

The most obvious: it's about a media-driven effort to divide the American people along predictable "socio-cultural fault lines" ... to wit, White/Black, Right/Left, etc.

And further, since you ask, I do believe that various organizations and factions are almost always running psyops of one sort or another on the American people, for everything from achieving higher market share to refining various neuro-linguistic programming techniques that have been long-proven to work on smaller scales (individual, small group) for use at a wider, more macro-sized scope.

I don't have any real concrete evidence for the latter ... thus I find myself DISBELIEVING that almost as often as I believe.

Witness testimony that isn't backed up by the forensic autopsy & study of the shooting is quickly and easily dismissed.

So the REAL question is, why the character assassination attempt?

Someone worrying that the forensic investigation's results must match the eye witness testimony would be my guess.

It is a hell of a thing isn't it, I really can't disagree with you much if at all, all things like this, trayvon, sandy hook, etc. all seem to have some kind of other driving force you can see it/ feel it if you look at for what it is. It really is a hell of a thing I see what you see too apparently.
