Watch: A Key Expert In Ferguson Case Just Got Exposed As A Fraud

Shawn Parcells owns National Forensic Autopsy and Recovery Services, which provides medical examiner services for coroners and private autopsies for families. He presents himself as a forensic medicine expert and child abuse consultant. He calls himself a “forensic pathologist assistant” who has observed or helped with over 1,000 autopsies. Yet many Missouri medical examiners doubt his qualifications and accuse Parcells of performing autopsies without a medical license.

This does not look good for the Brown family as their lawyers hired this guy.

They were hoodwinked at worst.
Their lawyer should have requested credentials from the guy. If anything, it shows that their lawyer is not doing a very good job for them.

Having looked at that video, I have more questions. Dr. Baden does not look all that sure of himself. Dr. Baden also give a lot of credit for the autopsy to Mr. Parcells. Why didn't Dr. Baden get another medical examiner that he knew to assist him? Dr. Baden has to know many, many, many medical examiners; so why doesn't he have someone he knows is qualified to assist him?

Next question, can a room at the mortuary be set up to do a PROPER autopsy? I was surprised that the autopsy was done at the mortuary. I just question if the mortuary could have the proper equipment to conduct the autopsy.

Why would it be anything but opinion until he testifies under oath, as an expert witness? Every one and his brother has given an opinion on the autopsy results.

This un-founded allegation means nothing!

The article says a Phelps county Prosecutor requested a "delay" in a trial because of a questionable document.

It DOESN'T even say if the request was granted.

There is nothing about charges of Fraud levelled at Parcells.

Not even any evidence that Parcells did anything illegal!

Unfounded "accusations by many Missouri Medical examiners" are nothing but an attempt to discredit a witness.

It's a smear campaign.

He isn't claiming to be anything other than an assistant.

Is the case against Brown so feeble that the prosecution needs to resort to this kind of unethical attack?

But in the original video, Mr. Parcell admits that he has no formal training. Mr. Parcell then states that he worked at a certain lab naming a Mr. Young as a man who trained him to work assisting autopsies. The Mr. Young in question has responded saying that he never trained Mr. Parcell and that Mr. Parcell only "hung around the building". Mr. Parcell has no credentials to show that he is qualified to work on autopsies. It does cast some doubt on the quality of the autopsy performed on Mr. Brown's body.

I reckon I could also claim the title of forensic pathologist assistant,I`ve assisted or viewed hundreds of autopsies.

i`ve watched Dr.G do hundreds of autopsies on T.V. and when i worked in the maintenance dept of a large hospital I once had to go and unclog the autopsy table drain so they could finish an autopsy.technically I assisted in the autopsy by unclogging the drain so that they could finish the autopsy,without my assistance they wouldn`t have been able to finish the autopsy.

A fancy title and cleverly worded description tells us nothing about his real qualifications,assuming he has any.

I am curious if this is the reason the family requested the DOJ to do a 3rd autopsy. Since the family autopsy has no relevance in court I don't think this is a big deal as far as the investigation goes.

Simple. He claims to have assisted in hundreds of autopsy and yet he is not being charged with any crime.

Just opinions.

Parcells meets the legal requirements to assist in autopsy.

plus...who cares who assisted, that is the medical examiner's decision, and what is allowed by law in that jurisdiction. the ME was the one that was qualified...and as soon as I went to the cited website, and found out it was a right-wing blog, I assumed it was lie, left something out or misrepresented the facts. I was going to worked backwards, and then BH got to it first....nice counter BH.

Out of curiosity why does it matter about the assistant? Those results most likely will not see the inside of a courtroom for a criminal prosecution.

The only area it would be used would be in a civil suit.

How do we even know if Parcells is his REAL name.

For all we know he's an ISIS agent.

To be honest, it's nearly impossible to tell what's real and what's manufactured. (Good job boys )

Personally, I'm tired of being duped or watching others get duped by psychological warfare and social engineering. Every time I get caught up in a new crisis within hours or days it is discovered there are subtle or not so subtle manipulation levers being pulled.

It's getting old.
