On Tuesday Assymetric Solutions tweeted out that they were being deployed to Ferguson, Missouri.

I find this to be a very disturbing turn of events that speaks volumes of the situation on the ground. On their twitter they noted We've been to Baghdad, Kabul, KL, Manilla, Peshwar, Bogata. Never guessed we would deploy a high threat team in our own city. #furgeson; however, it should be noted that they also stated To clarify we are not protecting state, law enforcement or those exercising their right to assemble. Escort detail augment for individual. so I am assuming they are going to protect a business person(s) and their respective business?

I think this is the most likely way to end this quickly. Media is already being censored so this rioting does not start more in other cities as well. They want to shut it down but the community there seems to care little about the actual events that occurred and more about rioting and looting. If it is violence they seek, then it is most likely what they will get. If the peaceful ones would have stepped up their game and shut the thuggery down and kept it peaceful then it may not have escalated to this point.

They are already there... Called the local police.

Sounds like these guys are going to be the escort detail for someone high profile there...most likely either Brown's accomplice or the Officer that killed Brown....essentially it is an extraction from a volatile situation for a protected subject. I have a friend that did these in New Orleans during Katrina....it was for high profile business execs that happened to be there at the time. The team has one mission and that is to get the individual they are there to extract, out safely.

And people keep saying the military and ex military would support the people. Right....

Did you watch the streams last night? The locals were AMAZING in their own private efforts to keep it peaceful, and the much smaller crowd was incredibly restrained, even when the cops started the same old tactics by the end of the night. They might not care about Mike Brown, but rather about the situation which is just indicative of the entire way they've been treated by the local LEOs since forever.

Seems last night, the LEOs weren't satisfied that it was peaceful and they had very little policing to do, because they started harassing and arresting journalists and Amnesty observers, after kettling them in to the "press pen" and then becoming threatening to JOURNALISTS en masse and telling them they all had to leave when there was actually nothing threatening going on. Tim Pool couldn't figure out what the threat was, no journalists could, and the "press officer" ignored his repeated requests for what was going on and what the threat was and why they were being told to leave. You know, the LEO responsible for communicating to the media. Three feet from Tim and ignored his questions for like two minutes before Tim got forced back too far.

It means they are not putting someone on stage to recite sh*t they are not going there to get on stage in front of the camera and spell it out. Basically it means not a dog and pony show for them.

A good and high possibility as well. They stated they could not release any more information, from what could be safely assumed for privacy/confidential reasons.

I just find this interesting is all, I am not trying to stir the pot or imply conspiracy just so everyone is clear, strictly FYI monitor and tracking purposes.

I was wondering when the government was going to pay goons and mercenaries to create more chaos and unrest in Missouri, remember people, goons and mercenaries are not law enforcement authorities they are for hired and they will do what they are told to do.

A "spelling bee" is a long enduring high-school competition that last hours, where competitors try and outsmart each other with the spelling of long and convoluted words. So they mean that they don't want the operation to drag on and on. They just want to get there, do the job and get out.

Isn't Eric Holder in town today? Dollars to donuts that's who they're there because of. That's not all that bad of an idea, what kind of crap would go down if someone tried to take a shot at him? I think these boys would be less liable to be unjustifiably "twitchy" than the local PD has been in that event (not saying it could happen, but anything's possible right now)
