Share A Favorite Adage!

So many good ones! I will be printing these out to add to my collection!

I especially liked ' Regarding memories: Look backward fondly, but don't stare' from argentus. It reminded me of another favorite:
'Things are never so bad that they can't get worse, and never so good that they can't get better'.

My kids refer to my constant use of adages as my 'fortune cookie wisdom'.
