I am convinced AG Holder won't suppress any photos which show the officers injuries. He'll make sure the investigation is on the up and up. (sarcasm off)

You can't see an orbital blowout fracture from 50 yards away. You likely wouldn't see it from 5 feet away as it is inside the skull behind soft tissue. And no you wouldn't likely bleed from this type of injury. What are you people saying? That the officer simply assassinated the kid for kicks? He was attacked and defending his own life. He can go about his business. Move along.

If I suffered a face injury I would be feeling the damage with my hands, he never touches his face..... No obvious signs of blood either

Why does that make it applicable to how anyone else would deal with an injury?

i agree, It doesn't. the way the body reacts to certain things changes from person to person. this argument is ridiculous

Thanks for that image! Do you happen to have a link for the source? Looks like KPLA on the side but I can't find it.

Assuming the information that Wilson suffered an orbital fracture as reported in the other thread:

People can have this type of fracture and not remember how or when they got it- which means you can underestimate your injury in this case.

Orbital Floor Fractures

In cases of occult fractures discovered incidentally or years after the injury, the patient may have no recollection of the actual traumatic incident.

ETA:

I also have to add that Wilson just killed a man. I hardly think he was thinking about his face just moments in the aftermath of the shooting. Can any of you imagine doing that?

I find it interesting that Michael Brown appears to have suffered a major eye injury according to this autopsy report:

"...One of the bullets shattered Mr. Brown’s right eye, traveled through his face, exited his jaw and re-entered his collarbone. The last two shots in the head would have stopped him in his tracks and were likely the last fired..."

Why is that interesting? He was shot in the face.

Sort of, but not exactly what you'd think. He wasn't shot from like, eye level or anything.

That bullet was traveling down, just like the shot that struck him in the top of the skull.

i keep thinking it was a hit of some kind. maybe the dude was a christian or something, in a mostly muslim area or a drug dealer who made a bad deal or an undercover cop that was found out, etc. the whole thing is just weird. once you shoot a guy in the head, there's no way he could keep coming at you unless it's just momentum.

you know I doubt that there was more than one shooter, but it did cross my mind there was another, but forensic could determine that.

I have plates, screws and wires holding my face together. Fractured zygomatic arch, blowout orbital fracture, etc. Required a hospital visit, removal of the eyeball for repairs and extensive facial reconstruction. Yes, I was quite a scrapper back in the day and you should've seen the other guys.
I say all of that to say this: I continued to fight and put off going to the hospital for hours and only going because I couldn't get my eyesight to straighten up. The pain didn't really start until many hours after the injury. I wanted to go back into the bar and finish the night. I imagine that had I killed a guy, my adrenaline would have me all jacked up as well.

One can not say, via the video. We are not doctors, and even then most medical professionals would state that he would need to be examined in person with a full work up, including x-rays and other things. After an accident or a fight, the body is rushing with adrenalin, and sometimes the signs of distress would not be there, until after the fact.

Only a full medical report would be able to determine if he was indeed injured and to what extent those injuries were and he had sustained. But from a video, no I would not consider that evidence at all of suspected injuries. But if he saw a doctor and then was again examined by another separate medical person, it would either confirm his part of what happened or disclaim it.

Propaganda MUCH!

"an anonymous callers account is accurate and matches what the officer says happened"

Oh God I hate that report, she is repeating hearsay of her friend Darren. How does that make her credible.
Of course he's gonna go home with a fake story, if it was indeed fake.

No he does not look injured. A punch to the eye hurts right away, hurts the eyeball. The eyes are the one of the most tender areas in our body. It's not like hitting your leg which might take hours to days to start hurting .

Also that prosecutor is biased. His father was a cop killed by a black man.
