More propaganda bullsh1t,
No evidence of this whatsoever

And if there was irrefutable evidence, you'd still call it propaganda and BS.

People like you would prolly see a video of Hamas holding Palestinian hostages, where they stated that if Israel doesn't leave they will kill them, and say its the right move.

Sigh....
and how was it used to build tunnels if it was intercepted?
you do know that cement is necessary to build housing?

That's one shipment. how many weren't intercepted?
Also when building houses, its best to always buy a little bit more in materials than you need just in case.

You lost your credibility when you used the holocaust card, im sorry for your kids, and im sorry for the kids on both side of the fence, war is terrible and nobody really wins when young men and women have to die.

But using the holocaust card wow dude serious!

you do know that nothing goes in or out of gaza without the israeli's knowing?
if they can get bags of cement in they can get guns in they only need about 10,000 guns and all those land grabbers
will be GONE.

stop whipping all those dead horses

sounds about as true as rockets which never get identified by israel and which the media never asks identification for.

where is the evidence ????

My official statement on Gaza - There are NO HAMAS ROCKETS

A soon as I stop laughing I'll answer that ......................... Give me a few.

Hamas rockets indepent article

This is where my kids live

Are you telling me they planted that LMAO.

Cody why are you pushing this pic again as you clearly said that this was sent as a joke by your son, in this thread
www.abovetopsecret.com...
Now you are pushing it again here, what the hell? You are posting this joke pic again to try and pull on heart strings. I accepted that you made misread the messege the last time but now you are pushing propaganda.

The exact text you received

07:09, 5 Aug - Elae: Hi dad thought you'd like to see this !!!! They are getting so desperate they tried to plant a rocket tree last night LMAO

I showed that it was posted online 15 days before you said it landed in a field your son was working in.

You are using a known pic of a joke to make a statement, you are adding lies to this thread. Once is a mistake twice is a lie.

I've been on ATS over 9 years and never once
been called a liar.
As far as I am aware that is a genuine photograph of a HAMAS
rocket.

My next reply will have to wait as I am at work.

A hamas rocket that went straight up into the air and embedded itself perfectly straight upon landing? Don't want to be called a liar then stop lying.

You can feign outrage all you want but it doesn't change the fact you are lying and the fact that you are here 9 years you should know better than to go posting something false.

It's very basic physics,

Allow me to educate you if I may ?

These rockets are loaded with an amount of fuel, pointed in roughly the direction of your target, (they aren't guided) the amount of fuel you place inside depends on how far said target is. The further target the more fuel you put in (You still with me?). When the fuel runs out the rocket begins it's decent.

Being nose heavy and with fins at the back it will almost invariably given enough height fall perpendicular to the earth, and land at an almost perfect 90 degree angle.

I'm sure there are many members on ATS that would verify this.

So yes a rocket that was launched landing at that angle is perfectly natural. If it had landed at 45 degrees I'd be very sceptical.

No wonder your mood is perplexed.

Please feel free to check your facts before calling me a liar

Cody

Well since we are teaching things why don't you listen to this,

That is a qassam 1 rocket with a range of 5km and that is being generous.

This pic was posted first online by Yoav regional council,as a rocket unexploded on their land a full 15 days before your "story". You said your son found this working in the kibbutz field in unoccupied territory in the thread I linked , the closest kibbutz in the Yoav regional council is sde yoav at a distance of 25km. That leaves 20km unaccounted for in your story, even if it was a qassam 2 or 3, which it is not from its size, it is well short of hitting range. Can you explain why the distances don't match up?

The Qassam rocket (or Kassam rocket ) is a simple steel rocket filled with explosives. Three models have been used. They are all free-flying artillery rockets lacking any guidance system, fuelled by mixture of sugar and potassium nitrate ( a widely available fertilizer) with a warhead filled with TNT and urea nitrate (another fertilizer).

The rocket is propelled by a square section propellant slug made of a 60/40 mix of potassium nitrate and sugar, that is slid into the steel pipe. The end of the rocket is a base plate having seven steel nozzles that is screwed into the casing before being tack welded into place. The propellant burns for around 1 second, powering the rocket upwards, at an angle, so that after the burn ceases the rocket follows a parabolic path under the influence of gravity, to hit the ground a predictable distance from its launch point. ( assuming a roughly standard energy input from the propellant slug and a repeatable launch angle)
It does not fall straight down

Simple physics indeed
Parabolic Path

I so perplexed because I am trying to make sense of your bs.

Easily, my old kibbutz is one of the biggest land owners in Israel. If they need more land they rent it from other Kibbutzim near them. When a lot of the fields are lay fallow as is tradition, They simply farm other KIbbutzim the don't rely on their fields as much.

It does not fall straight down

I'm afraid it does if enough height is reached, nothing you say can change the laws of physics. The warhead is relatively very heavy and will pull the rocket down at a 90 degree angle.

The graph you posted is not relevant to this type of rocket.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm getting bored with explaining the obvious, there's far more interesting things to read than your ramblings try to prove facts wrong.

Play lawn darts and launch them at a high angle, same physics same result.

Cody

ETA: Don't worry about it, I've just been through your profile, since July almost every post you made is against Israel.

Cody you are not making any sense, for the rockets to hit the height and angle to come straight back down they would have to be shot straight up thus negating the distance they have to achieve to hit its target.

The graph you posted is not relevant to this type of rocket.

Care to offer any proof why it is not?

Now if you'll excuse me I'm getting bored with explaining the obvious, there's far more interesting things to read than your ramblings try to prove facts wrong.

What facts? I explained in full why it not possible and you ignore it, basic physics you called it and when they are actually used you say they are wrong.

Play lawn darts and launch them at a high angle, same physics same result.

You mean like these?

Notice the angle if you will, even your own analogies are disproving your pic.

Yeah I fully understand why you leaving, it is because you are being proved wrong.

How is calling you out lying hatred? If anything you lying about this picture is inflaming people to breed more hatred, there is so much bad things going on in Gaza at the moment it doesn't need your "story" to help it along. When you are done trying to get people to feel sorry for you, please feel free to join in with a proper answer.

How would they achieve their distance when shot straight up? Unless they where fired in the same field cody, basic physics. You wanted to use them, now they are being used.

A parabolic path is the path followed by a projectile; that is, an object that is only acted on by gravity. The projectile has an initial velocity, either horizontal or upward at an angle. If it were to start out going straight up, it would go straight down, too, so that wouldn't be much of a parabola; it would be squished into a straight line. It would be the same way if it started out going straight down, or if we simply dropped it, so we'll really be looking at the parabolic paths followed by projectiles with some initial velocity.
