If you haven't heard actor and comedian Robin Williams has commited suicide today.

Veteran film and television comedic actor Robin Williams was found dead on Monday. He was 63.

The cause of death is believed to be suicide via asphyxiation, according to the coroner’s office in Tiburon, Calif. He was found in his home.

According to his publicist, who confirmed the news, the actor had been battling depression of late and recently entered 12-step rehab stint for drug abuse.

Sad I like Robin Williams.

extremely sad, he must of been battling some dark problems...always seemed bubble on the outside in public eye and truly seemed like one of the most genuine kind caring people in hollywood. I'll remember him as a hilarious actor and a great philanthropist

I am in shock! Oh this is sooooo sad. He was such an awesome actor/comedian and brought so much joy to so many people. RIP Robin. You will be greatly remembered and missed.

Bad day for comedy
I had heard he had a problem with depression a while back, it seemed kinda odd. Someone that could make most the world laugh hysterically. I seen a picture of him from last year, and he did have a haunted sad look in his eyes.

So sad, that someone who made millions of people laugh,
may have been so troubled, that he committed suicide!

What's that saying...about the best comedians,
having experienced the dark side of life?
That's what gives them the perspective to be that good!

One of my all time favorites, actor or comedian!
He's really going to be missed!
