Hello everyone at ATS, I thought I would Introduce myself to the Community, by creating an Introductory thread. I look forward to being an active member on AboveTopSecret!


A little about me: I enjoy positivity, I'm the worst when it comes to being Grammatically correct, I was born in California, I like to learn new things, I love meeting new people, and overall I'm just an Oddball... I look forward to knowing you all!

Well if your an "oddball" you'll fit right in. Don't worry about your grammar either. Grammar nazis aren't well received here.

Warm welcome Trainee1111 I like your term oddball as I seem to remember it being applied to me in the past. If you seem to march to another drum to everyone else I have still found myself with great mates. I expect you will enjoy it here as there are so man different things to discuss.

People have stated above that ATS is a family. It most definitely is not.

It is a cess pit of abuse, arguing and insults. With some very cool threads thrown in.

This is why you are welcome. Please bring some light to these boards.

Only if you choose to let it be, I've been here nine years, sure I've had arguments, that's natural when one is passionate about about something.

I'm closer to some of the members here than I am to some of my family and even met a fair few in RL.

ATS is definitely a family with all the good and bad that go with it.

Why not pop over to the avatar creations team and meet some of the more mellow members here ? You can get there by clicking my signature strip where it says avatar creations.

I did frequent the boards back in 2005 ish for a year or two, We had the podcast (johnny annonymous and Dave Rabbit). It was a much better community then. It also seems now we have lost so much functionality we had back then with the site itself.
Maybe I was a little harsh but I do believe ATS is no where near what it was.

Hello Trainee1111! Im new too. There are so many interesting and fascinating topics, opinions, speculations ect... I have already come across here on ATS. I have a feeling there are going to be many late night explorations/research to be had!
