Wiles was enthusiastic Tuesday about the arrival of Ebola, but Right Wing Watch reported that he warned the previous day that President Barack Obama may intentionally spread the deadly virus through a mandatory and mysterious vaccine.

That would somehow then allow Obama to declare martial law and force Americans into FEMA camps, the religious right broadcaster theorized.

I had a dream 3 or 4 nights ago about this exact same scenario. I wrote it off as a BBC NEWS induced nightmare, but reading this statement creeps me out a bit.

In the dream, I was wrestled down and given an injection, then an RFID chip was injected into my left hand, between the index finger and thumb. The pain of the needle felt so real. I woke up expecting to find a chip in my hand, and the pain was still there.

Ebola could cleanse the world of bigots, rapists and religion!!!

If this person believes what they have stated, I'm equally right to believe all it would take was one christian to get ebola, and while it's still contagious and they attend church(mass, depending on sect), bake sales, charity drives what have you, they give every religious nut the disease.

Oooooooooo it's so beautiful, but it can't be true. The world doesn't give out such gifts.

Well I don't see the word sluts per say, but I do see that he used the term "sexual promiscuity" which might as well be the same thing.

“It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming,” Wiles continued. “Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography, and abortion.”

Though I wonder, how does ebola kill off abortion? Isn't abortion an action and not a label for a group of humans? I guess ebola is some wonder disease that just cures ALL of Christianity's problems to this guy...

I am sure all Christians agree with this mans statements. Just like all Muslims are terrorists. Not worth posting in my admittedly humble opinion.

So we shouldn't have any posts about Muslim terrorists either? I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with what the majority of Christians would agree with, the question is how influential is Rick Wiles.

Do a little research on Rick Wiles, he's been around since at least the late 90's, and while he's certainly fringe, he's not an unknown and unfortunately, he's got a base of devoted listeners among the end-times crowd.

Here's his website

for the truth-in-posting crowd. Can you point out where the radio host said "sluts".

Whew! I am relieved. He didn't say sluts, so maybe they get to live through the ebola crisis.

Sluts are a very important part of American society from my experience.

If ebola wiped out the Christians, then I guess they didn't have enough faith in God. An must go to hell for that lack of faith.

Cause that something a western, ignorant religious believer would say?

You notice that nearly every single "problem" he listed has to do with sex.

If these religious types weren't so sexually repressed by their religion, maybe they wouldn't be obsessed with sex.

Then they could worry about bigger and better things like war, poverty and the economy...you know, the real problems in our country.

since the ebola will ONLY effect the sluts , homos, and athiests...then he and his buddies should have NO problem taking care of ebola patients....won't even need haz mat suits

Biblicaly speaking he may be right that plauges will be used by GOD. He then goes out on a limb when he tries to say that who he would punish and who GOD will punish are the same. If it were true then i would say that the gays and sluts have a chance but the unbelievers are in danger more than us.

Thinking more on this. I'm kind of curious why he singled out atheists. So if ebola takes out the atheists, what about the agnostics, the wiccans, the muslims, the jews, the satanists, the anyone not an atheist or a Christian? Do they all get free passes from ebola too? Man I'm reading too far into a hate mongers words...

This man is a good example of the problems inherent in fanatical belief. He would be glad to see people suffer an agonizing death because of his zeal. I'm glad that this breed of human is dying out. They think they are being leaders or guides of some sort when in fact all they accomplish is the stagnation of human development. On top of that he makes Christian beliefs look vengeful, petty, ignorant and barbaric with his statements. According to him all you need is the blood of Jesus and the mark of an angel to be immune to Ebola. I'd love to to test that theory of his by seeing him exposed to the disease in some way.

The most depressing part of this story though is not the man. It is the fact that he is well known and listened to by a large enough percentage of the population to make this story news worthy. That says a lot too me. I am not gullible enough to believe that people can and do not like other people for a multitude of reasons. What saddens me is that people of this preachers persuasion dislike people for the pettiest of reasons. Petty enough to be childish. Lunacy. Damn lunacy.

Personally I hope he contracts Ebola and dies.

... what about the Jews? They only worship God, you know.

... what about the Catholics? They "worship Mary and the Pope" you know.

... what about the Jehovah's Witnesses? They don't believe that Jesus is co-equal with God, you know.

... what about the Mormons? They believe that God and Jesus are just good past Mormons who were apotheosized, ... you know.

What about the Presbyterians? They open let gays into the church, you know...

The Unitarian-Universalists? (Some of them are even ... atheists ...)

Who makes the cut?

/f-ing idiots

Perhaps he views the atheist as having taken a direct stand against GOD by saying that he is not real and the rest are not as far along on the road of denial in their hearts. Perhaps those that believe falsely have more chance than those that do not believe at all?

So people who worship Satan get a pass? That's funny. I'd think they'd be the ones God would be against before anyone else since they follow the adversary.

a reply to: Krazysh0t Not quite what i said. I tried to convey the thought that perhaps someone that has expierence in believing in a GOD may be more prone to finding salvation because of their expierence. I would not limit that expierence to just followers of one religion.

Example could be if GOD came down and started performing miricles that may turn believers of other religions to him and those athiest that follow science as a religion will be busy calling it project bluebook or trying to figure out how he done it rather than recoginizing his presence.
